Does this work on hard water and rust stains?

No this doesn't  work on on hard water and rust stains. I moved in with my mother to be her caregiver due to her dementia which had turned into Alzheimer's.  Since she lived alone no one really knew just what was happening in the house. Well she had stopped routinely flushing the toilet and OMG it was so very gross!!! It was almost black with calcium deposits and rust. I was trying everything but nothing worked UNTIL I found my MIRACLE  PRODUCT,  "Lysol toilet cleaner for lime and rust". It is in a regular lysol plastic  bottles, I think it is 24 ounces and the bottle is mostly black. Anyway I put the thick viscous gel liquid in the toilet and basically forgot about it. So after about an hour I went back in there and was shocked to see floating on the surface of the water several  "skins" of the calcium/rust floating on top of the water. Go figure !!  I had been fighting this for months, trying all these different products and this is the MAGIC ONE Lysol for lime and rust.

What is the environmental impact of the disposables?  Are they landfill? Hazardous?

Question 3

I see the instructions say to scrub above the water line. You can't scrub down to the bottom of the bowl? Any chance the scrubber would fall off?

The instructions also say "empty toilet bowl before cleaning" so they are presuming most of the water will be drained out which is why they say to clean above the water line. That said, I never empty the toilet bowl, I just clean above the water line first while I have all the cleaner on the head and then work my way down into the water. The water will slowly rinse the cleaning product off the head but the bowl will get clean before that happens!

Is the sbscription for the re-fills only?  Or do I get a new toilet wand every 3 months?
