Brilliant item. We got this for my daughter who wanted to take soup to school for lunch. Easy for her to open and keeps the soup warm from being heated in the morning till her lunchtime around midday. Comes with spoon in lid too. Not too big but ideal for our needs.

Compact, nice finish although I’m a bit cautious with it as I’m not convinced the paint won’t deteriorate. Functions well, keeping food warm. I bought two. This one and another well known brand. They are much of a muchness. Both are good flasks. This one (as mentioned before) has a different quality finish. Aesthetics? Yes but I am concerned that it won’t stay the course.

Bought first time in 2012. Initially used for work lunch. This food flask is now mainly used for school lunch. It keeps food hot, even after school hours. It holds enough for one serving (though that is if you don't eat a lot), and the food still smells OK and retains freshness. It is easy to wash and easy to transport. In this instance, it goes into another bag, which is placed inside a school bag. Over time, the black paint on the flask has been peeling off, but it is still usable without affecting its effectiveness. Have already bought two more of these.

Love the colour, love the size and shape ... what a beauty! After i've stopped gazing at it, i did test it with coffee and realised that becuaes that has milk it won't keep hot for so long as soup or hot water for example. Over the next couple of weeks i'm going to test it with various foods / drinks that i want and get a feel of timings, but overall I'm thrilled with this especially as locally there have been quite a few power cuts and it's taking a little while for things to be fixed. In the meantime having a drink or flask of soup at the ready, if there is a blip i know i've got a hot drink during that time. Alsoi haven't used it yet, but there's a cute folding spoon that i'm sure will be useful for any hot meals i have. I like the suitably wide neck for filling, especially for meals, and easy for cleaning.

Es ist die zweite Thermos King Dose, die ich gekauft habe. Die sind stabil und langlebig, selbst wenn sie auf den Boden fallen. Wenn das Essen richtig heiß eingefüllt würd, halt es mehrere Stunden heiß, es hängt allerdings auch davon ab, wie flüssig die Speise war. Je flüssiger, desto länger hält es heiß. Was auch super funktioniert, ist das Kalthalten von Eiswürfeln für den Transport, wenn man im Sommer draußen kalte Getränke mixen will oder eben nicht ständig in die Küche rennen. Da schmilzt ebenfalls stundenlang nichts. Die Dosen halten auch nach Jahren des Gebrauchs dicht. Also für sie neue Dose kann ich das natürlich nicht nicht sagen, aber die erste, baugleiche Dose ist nun mindestens acht Jahre alt und ständig im Gebrauch und funktioniert einwandfrei, obwohl inzwischen mal der Boden abgegangen ist. 0,5 p könnte für manche für Mittagessen vielleicht zu klein sein aber es gibt sie ja auch in größer. Die Öffnung könnte etwas größer sein, aber ist auch okay.

Ho acquistato questo thermos dopo averne provato un'altro più economico e devo dire che in questo caso ogni euro speso in più ha il suo perchè. L'oggetto è esteticamente bello, con la superficie esterna in acciaio metallizzato e colorato, ma il suo meglio lo da durante l'utilizzo. La dimensione è giusta per una porzione, che sia pasta, minestra o spezzatino. La misura dell'imboccatura consente di prelevare il cibo direttamente dal contenitore con un cucchiaio o una forchetta. Per quanto riguarda la performance termica posso dire che preparo il cibo la mattina alle 7 e lo consumo fra le 13 e le 14. In generale i cibi liquidi e semiliquidi restano bollenti, la pasta calda, idem i piatti tipo spezzatino. Chiaramente molto dipende anche da quanto si riempie il contenitore: più è pieno e meglio mantiene il calore. Il thermos prevede anche un cucchiaio in dotazione nel coperchio che completa l'oggetto (e fa la felicità dei figli) In famiglia abbiamo 3 contenitori come questo e li usiamo con soddisfazione per il pranzo di grandi e piccini.
