Le Veneziane Gluten Free Potato Gnocchi 500 g

I’ve been following the low FODMAP diet for the past 6 weeks and bought these as I missed having gnocchi for dinner. My supermarket didn’t have any gluten/wheat free gnocchi, so I tried this brand. It’s perfect, tastes just like the one I used to have and doesn’t upset my stomach. It’s handy that it comes in portions too, as one half is perfect for feeding two. Obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but I would definitely say it’s worth trying if you have gluten/wheat sensitivities. I can’t taste the difference between this brand and the supermarket one containing wheat and gluten and my Husband was in agreement.

I am wheat and gluten intolerant. I ordered these, and I would highly recommend them. Good value for money, and great quality. Cook exactly as instructed on the packet. Would recommend that you remove one piece and taste for texture prior to draining. That way if the texture is too firm for your liking you simple cook further, in my case 2 minutes (then retry a piece) to achieve your desired texture. I served mine with a bolognaise sauce and fresh Parmesan cheese grated all over! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended and reminds me to get another order in!

This is a great option if you need to eat Gluten-free. It comes it a convenient pack where there's two pouches of gnocchi. This is really easy to cook and add to a meal. I really missed gnocchi until I found this and it is completely safe for coeliacs too. It has a really nice taste too, and always tastes fresh despite the fact that you can keep it in the cupboard for months. Will be buying frequently!

I never tried 'real' gnocchi before I was diagnosed as having coeliac disease so I can't really give a like for like comparison but I'm sure many a coeliac will agree it's the texture of gluten free substitutes in the mouth that can make or break a product. I personally find the texture of these gnocchi to be quite acceptable. As does my wife, and she doesn't need to restrict herself to a gluten free diet.

The package comes with two portions which is good as you can open one at a time and eat the other at a later date. With pesto this is so bland its nearly inedible. Really not appealing. I used a much more flavourful sauce the second time and it was better but I don't think I'd buy this again.

Love this. My husband and I buy this on subscribe and save so that we always have one on hand for a quick Italian treat. I just add veggies and sauce and pop it in the oven, so easy.

I bought these for a friend who has wheat and gluten intolerant and she absolutely loved it. She said the taste was lovely.

Fantastic and great to buy when I can't find any in the shops.
