Favorite pantry staple
Love this rice. Finally an aromatic, delicious, and nutritious quick cook white rice. Versatile with any cuisine or recipe and ready in minutes. Cooks quick due to small grain size, not prebaked or fried like other quick cook white rices which are just blah carb filler. Bonus it’s from Lotus so I know I’m supporting regenerative farming and small farms. A++ from me and must-have pantry staple!!!

A ziplock resealing feature would be helpful
Yummy rice, but was surprised that it didn't have a zip lock top to reseal.

Not carried in the local stores in Tucson
This is the best rice, both in quality and in cooking time. Wish I could get it locally on a consistent basis. It would cost half the cost on Amazon, if I could get it.

My rice packages were short dated
First off, this is my favorite rice. It's a little bit rare so it tends to go out of stock or be discontinued by vendors frequently. Were this a review strictly based on the rice it would easily be five stars. It is highly flavorful and indeed quick cooking. However, I wrote to the vendor asking for the expiration dates before shipping and never received an answer, but they shipped it anyway. They've just arrived after a long delay and these packages only have 2 months left on their Best By date. The grains of rice are noticeably more yellow and broken than the partial package I currently had on hand possessing a Best Buy date of February of 2027, so it is questionable how these have been stored and what they're going to taste like. I needed them to prepare a dinner tonight so I will be finding out quickly and will update this review based on our dinner. I am hopeful the rice itself still tastes good but I am disappointed in the merchant for not answering my question. It seems the customer is too often getting the short end of the stick these days. *UPDATE* I cooked the rice, and it is noticeably dryer in texture and seems right on the edge of being rancid. This is a big problem with ordering food products from Amazon, unlike some other distributors who guarantee a generous shelf life. Many Amazon merchants are just trying to unload short dated product.
