LEGO 60138 City Police High-speed Chase

Bought for my 5 year old lego mad grandson. This kept him entertained for a few days theres three items of Lego to build in this box. He loved putting this together himself and following the instructions with a call now and again to the Mummy or Daddy when he gets stuck......he's a little expert! He was very proud when he was finished and played with it all day. Its becoming an expensive hobby so I'm always on the look out for good value lego sets to keep him going.

As a keen builder myself buying this was a no brainer however my 5yr old helped and as the instructions are probably easier than similar sets from this age range he helped me build without any problems. From a value perspective this is excellent 3 vehicles and minifigs for the price of one medium set you can’t argue. This is probably the most played with set seeing as it mirrors Lego City on the Xbox which is a firm family favorite.

This was one of the first sets that I picked up for my 4 year old and one we still play with 6 months down the line. It’s a great combination of fast cars and a cool helicopter - most importantly it includes the Chase McCain minifigure who is the hero in the cartoons and video games . Super easy to build and a great starter set or gift for kids who love police and Lego !

Wasn't the easiest to assemble the helicopter in particular. And for the price would like it to come with a few more (but lego quite expensive). My lil boy loves it though so great present.

Main LEGO player in my house these days is our 4 year old. Needed plenty of help to build (which I don’t mind as I’m a big kid). Helicopter blades obviously easy to knock off. But the cars are really solid so perfect for a 4 year old with no concept of how annoying it is for dad to keep rebuilding LEGO when’s it’s dropped!

It's a really cool helicopter you get from the set, I'll start by saying that. It has 4 rotor blades (as opposed to 6 on the 2013 cost guard helicopter), as you can see from the picture. The cars are really awesome, as well, and I like the colours of them. Especially the red sports car. Not much to say about the minifigs, there's one police woman, a police man, Chase McCain, and a male robber. That robber is somewhere with all the other robber minifigs I have, so it'll be quite hard to find him. But it's a great set. It adds to our collection of characters, while also adding to the number of awesome and unique lego vehicles we have.

Decades ago I couldn't choose between the very first Technic car or helicopter. I settled for the copter. It was a couple of years later I got the car. I loved both. Flight and wheels what more could I ask for. Well this set has even more... The thing is you can see what you're getting in a box of Lego. So here you have a police helicopter with rope and hook that can be pulled to full length and manually wound to clip securely on the copter's side. Handcuffs and 2 tiles of bundles of bank notes and bullion add a bit of fun, as does the road barrier. Due to the small size of some parts this set is not recommended for under 3 years of age.

Managed to get this at half price. Great lego set. My 4 year old son and I very much enjoyed building this. 2 cars and a really cool looking helicopter with working blades & a winch!

Product is just awesome. My son loved it. Quality of product is good. Price wise I felt its is lil bit high.. Easy to assemble. But product packaging was pathetic. Box was damaged. As it's a Corona time, we expect a good packaging, specially when it comes to kids product. For packaging I will give 0 star. I didn't received product in Amazon packaging which I usually get whenever I buy anything. As a Amazon prime member I don't expect this.
