The build seems sturdy and when you plug in the hard drive it stays plugged very firmly, no wiggles. There’s a little blue LED light indicating it’s turned on. Easy to use, just two cables (power to the socket and USB to the PC). I think the top cover is pretty useless as it just traps the heat. Very cheap and effective. You can hear a bit of the noise when the HDD is in use but that’s expected.

It works well. However, if you are intending to use it for migration and your disk is encrypted. decrypt it before moving it to the enclosure.

It's difficult to know how to rate something which is really just a box with connecting ports, a mains lead and a usb connection. I can't rate the speed, because I discovered that the old hard drive that I'd removed from a defunct computer many years ago had been successfully re-formatted, and didn't contain the treasure trove of old photos that I'd been hoping for. Nevertheless, it's neat, it does the job and I feel confident that it will do the job as intended. If I need to, I can now use it as a back-up hard drive for my Humax Freesat box.

Had to return as it was not fit for use in a series x, sleep function would enable when in game which causes a stutter when the drive spins back up, also noticed my xbox being a bit slower when i had it plugged in since it keeps sleeping, and then ramping back up. Do yourself a favor and get a usb to sata with a 12v port, and use that instead.
