Excelint product.. Allready bought 3 last 6 months for friends n family.. Worked really well for back pain..

Very good, but a bit rough without a cushion, like being kneaded by an 1980s Eastern-European masseuse called Agnieszk, though my other half is apparently hard as nails and prefers without the cushion!

Honestly worth every penny. Bought this after having a seizure causing my muscles to become tightened in my back and arms. Was sceptical thinking surly it's not going to be that good... But genuinely it has a surprising amount of power! It has helped ease a lot of the tension in both my back and arms. Only downside is it can be a little tricky to get the placement right when it comes to the shoulders/ upper back, but with a good pillow and some adjustments it's perfect for easing my aching and knotted muscles. I never write reviews but thought this is worth the effort. Only had it for two weeks so can't comment on the longevity, but for £30 it's the price of a massage session and had paid for itself 10x over. The faux leather is good and not tacky, and the heat function pumps out a nice warmth without feeling like it's going to toast you. Hard recommend.

Had this 2 and a half years with use maybe twice a week. I hadn't used something like this before and it was harder (solid balls rotating) than I expected however it can be great when my chronic neck pain gets bad and I can't get a proper massage. It doesn't go high up the neck but works on where neck meets the shoulders. Sometimes need to readjust when the balls change direction as can feel great then they change direction and it gets uncomfortable. My boyfriend has been having shoulder pain (racket sports) and now requests using this too. It is very solid and gives a heavy massage, and if I've had a chronic neck flare up (eg reinjuring my existing issue) I don't use this, and especially not if I hadn't had it assessed by a medical person yet. Biggest issue with this one is the cord falls out very easily, especially if need to adjust position, which means having to plug it in and get it back into position - tricky if mobility is limited. In the last few months it sometimes seems to jam but not enough that I'd consider replacing it yet. If it broke I'd rebuy it for sure. I own three massager types - one much smaller, handheld softer silicone with vibrations which I use on the neck trigger points (as advised by healthcare) as its gentler and I can control it better; this one which is hard/solid rotating balls and I have minimal control of so good on my upper shoulders/lower neck for general tightness; and a very expensive handheld professional theragun(spelling?) which gives deep thumping type massage and is much too strong for use on neck but can be good for my shoulders BUT hard to do on myself.

Pros Very easy to use. Can be moved about as you wish to target different areas. Relieves shoulder and neck stress and stiffness very well. If you lay back and put your arms out or behind your head it really gets in under the shoulder blades. Cons The wire is a little short so you need to position a chair/bed near to a socket The power wire attaches to the pillow in an awkward place, I think it should have been made to come out of the top of the pillow but it comes out of the side at the bottom and could easily be laid on or broken if you are not careful when moving it around targeting different areas. I am quite lean and light but for heavier set folks it might not be powerful enough because it slows down quite a bit when I lay on it with all my weight. Overall - Recommended Great purchase so far, even after just one use (at 20 minutes) it was cheaper than a massage. It gets warm after a few minutes use and it turns itself off after about 10 minutes, I guess so it doesn't overheat. I am not sure what the red lights are for, they don't seem to make much difference. If they are infrared, I cant see them doing much because you have to use it with clothes on to avoid too much friction on the skin anyway. If you suffer from tightness in your shoulders and upper back and under the shoulder blades (leading to a tight chest and neck), then this is for you.

Worked well for two weeks. Then broke as soon as I couldn't return it. I will invest in a more expensive massager next time.
