Good Quality. Work well
Very happy with these string trees. They are well made and the moving rollers rotate cleanly and easily and aid tuning stability. Some people noted that the screws supplied were too soft/weak but no issue with the ones I received. I used all 4 on 2 guitars - a strat copy and a parts-caster. Make sure to drill the headstock correctly if not replacing old trees. I used a very small 1mm bit and waxed the screw to ensure easy and secure fit. Make sure to place correcty i.e. about half way between tuner and nut. They look well and do the job. A very inexpensive upgrade. Would recommend.

Allows strings to move freely
Another great product from this company. They rotate freely allowing easier tuning plus they look far better than the pressed tin ones. I’m impressed with the quality of these far superior to others I’ve seen.

They're cheap and they work!
It's hard to mess up a string tree, but non the less. These are really good, I actually ordered two of these because i thought it was just two in a pack. So i ordered two to get four. But then the post man showed up with eight. I was really pleasantly surprised to be honest. Setup was easy, unscrew the old ones and put the new ones in. Although try to use the original screw for the new string trees, because that's what your guitar is threaded for. If you're un aware, roller style string trees are better than the "clip" style trees because they can roll with the string instead of creating friction, this reduces the likeliness of strings snapping and keeps the guitar in tune for longer. In conclusion, i would recommend these completely. They're the best mod you can do to your guitar for under £5, and i will probably be purchasing more of these for future guitars.

Roller guitar string trees.
In the fine detail, these items are of medium quality. However they are easy to install and provide a smooth route for the strings up to the nut. What is really good is that the guide wheels are at the same height as the tuning posts, so all the strings lie parallel. Even though I only wanted two, you get four in a pack plus screws and a stiff plectrum. I'd have preferred two very good quality rather than four medium quality and a plectrum, but there you go. Once fitted you don't notice the minor imperfections, which do not affect their function as roller string trees. Be aware that the supplied screws are poor quality, so make sure you have drilled 2 mm pilot holes to reduce the torque needed to screw them into the headstock. I drilled a 1.5 mm pilot first time and the screw sheared off, but soon fixed and 2 mm pilot holes sorted the problem. I also put candle wax on the screw threads to make sure they did not bind.

Perfecty fine if you don't force the scews.
These did the job perfectly well, because the screw holes in my headstock were suitably drilled.

Good - but watch the screws!
These string trees are a good replacement for the standard strat-type ones on many guitars. Even if the guitar doesn't have a whammy bar they're still worth fitting. Only caution - the screws supplied are on the "long" side and could break surface at the back. I needed to shorten them for the guitar I was modifying.

Screwed up!
String guide itself seems good. Certainly looks better than the original. Sadly, as others point out, the screws (even when inserted through the guide) are as long as the headstock is thick (90s Squire). This would result in the tip of the screw slightly breaking through to the backside. I ended up using the original guide screw instead which worked fine.

Good Stuff!
Here again, good quality for good price! I had several things from Musiclily and everything was good quality, reliable in use, and fair priced! This includes Pick ups! Can recommend!!

Very nice quality string trees. Easy to install and look great. They are doing everything I expected from a roller string tree. I am installing them on all my geetars that have the bent metal retainers. I play a solo looper rig and someone came up to me and said that I sounded really good. I told them, "It isn't me..it's my Musiclily Vintage Roller String Trees that make me sound good. Thanks for noticing." I have purchased several items from Musiclily and are very satisfied with price and quality.
