Dri Pak Clean & Natural Borax Substitute 500g

Perfect for so many things, however my initial use for Borax was to semi, permanently preserve fresh flowers eg; Roses, Anenomes etc; by submerging in box n after a couple of weeks per instructions. Unsure as to whether this'll work since it's a substitute but, worth a try & if not, plenty other cleaning etc; needs. My box arrived complete & powder soft as should be, thanks.

Using for all round household cleaning including my washing machine. Really helps to remove limescale from the drum and drain pipe. Easy to use, plenty of advice out there online to use for a lot of different cleaning tasks

The powder is fine and easy to measure, and a little goes a long way. The only small downside is that for tough, baked‑on grime, you may need to use a bit more product or repeat the cleaning. But overall, it’s a versatile, natural, and budget‑friendly addition to any cleaning routine.

I had bought this for my daughter for slime, as that's her obsession right now. Unfortunately, she tried and ended up with glue in a bowl with the powder just sticking together in the slime, not even mixing in. She was disappointed and, although we haven't tried it as a cleaning product, if you are here to use it for slime, I don't recommend (unless we got a bad batch). However, the size was good and the scent wasn't bad.

Excellent for cleaning

Borax is fantastic. It removes stains i.e. tannin in cups and stains on the worktop. It does not cost too much and is great value for money. The box it comes in can break so I transfer the borax into a glass jar. Wonderful

I erroneously assumed a “substitute” would fulfill all the functions of a namesake original. WRONG I have a problem stretching back years of a recurring ant problem - always in the same place, and it’s undermining my paved driveway. All efforts to eradicate the nest have failed year in, year out. I’d read that Borax and sugar would totally remove the nest. Substitute doesn’t cut it. At the price, I’m not going through the hassle of a return. It will sit on a shelf in my garage as a testament to RTFM.
