Product was as described super sturdy great steel. did not bend. We stuck them in the ground with an impact didn’t affect anything went right down in, and by the way, super tough ground. Another one I had tried started bending as soon as we tried it out with returning it.

My husband says they worked great and great value.

These wireless well. I removed the 6 I installed, after being on the ground 6 years. All the ones that were in sandy soil were perfect but the one that was in deep topsoil or loam, the auger teeth broke off before I could actually get it out. So if you're going to be putting them in wet conditions with not great drainage, then you probably want to replace some or at least inspect them every 5 years or so.

I had no issues putting these into the ground. To test the anchoring locations for rocks/roots and aid in installation, I first hammered a piece of 5/8" steel rebar which created a pilot hole. After removing the rebar, I used a crowbar for leverage to turn the anchors into some pretty hard soil. I could see how it might be a problem for some people, but I managed it and broke a decent sweat in the process! I didn't have any issues with the quality of the welds, either. I would recommend this product, but if the ground is hard you have to have some ingenuity and also be willing to work for it. Soak the ground with water well in advance of installation if you have to. I should have done that because it took me about an hour to install all four. I'm not deducting a star for the missing cable and cable clamp (only received 3 out of 4 of each) because the performance of the product was as expected. The packaging was heavily damaged and taped on one end, so it's likely it either fell out or was "borrowed" to complete another anchoring kit. I spent a few more bucks to get what I needed elsewhere rather than return the entire package for a single clamp and 12" of cable. I needed my shed inspected worse than I needed to wait a few more weeks to get what I needed.

The product is great. I bought it used and the seller sent it missing a couple items. Good thing I don't need them. I will now block that seller.

Works best in loose soil, not in gravel or rocky soil, decent metal quality though. Rebar pieces worked better for my carport from ShelterLogic, but would be useful for area with nothing in the dirt.

Used to secure canopy on beach this summer. Installed with 18V battery drill with hook in the chuck. Made for extremely strong tie-down anchor, sinking deep into sand. Surrounding rental canopy's utilized different styles of stakes vs. this type auger. In the non-storm winds we experienced, all canopies stayed up. Big difference I saw was I was able to place this anchor kit directly beside the canopy leg to provide a secure tie-down. All of the other staked-in canopies had stretch their canopy strings at an angle, this meant they usually partially-blocked off both sides of their canopy for access. Ours was open along all four sides. Overall pleased with purchase. Good size and SOLID, with good welds from auger to core. Expect re-use on beach duty for many more enjoyable years. As stated in other reviews, shipping box was pretty beat up when delivered and all of the wire loop tie-downs didn't make delivery (should be four; one for each stake). I looped canopy tie-down directly thru stake's eye, thus didn't require the loops. Suggest OEM ship with double-cardboard ends to secure the stakes inside the box from factory.

These anchors are very secure. The auger really digs in and the pole is relatively easy to burry all the way through various soils, barring rocks.... it makes a really solid, secure anchor. I am happy I bought them.

Diese Bodenanker sind eine stabile Ausführung. Diese sind im Moment noch nicht eingedreht. Mein Mann hat diese noch an den oberen Ösen und unten an den Schnecken nachgeschweißt. Da wir einen schweren Boden haben sind die Ösen zum Eindrehen stabiler und die Schnecken standfester. Nach dem Eindrehen der Bodenanker entscheidet er sich noch die mitgelieferten Seile am Trampolin zu befestigen oder mit Gurten am oberen Rohrrand zur befestigen.
