Sistema Water Bottle | Twist 'n' Sip Sports Water Bottle | 460 ml | BPA-Free | Blue

I have been searching for a quality BPA free/dishwasher-proof/leak proof water bottle for my 2 boys since they were toddlers(for 3 years!). We saw the Sistema twister bottle on Amazon and ordered 2. We are very pleased to have found it! It is attractive, suitable for adullts or children with its neat and simple design, contains a good amount of water and is taint free, we can chuck it in the dishwasher and it doesnt leak! What more could you want! The lid/mouthpiece is simple but innovative as when you tighten the lid the spout retracts inside neatly and easily sealing the bottle, to drink you do a simple small twist to pop up the spout and have a drink. We love it so much we ordered 2 more in this 460ml size and 4 in the bigger size. Best water bottle we have ever bought! Buy it!

Very pleased with this bottle as I've tried lots of others and almost all leak or are difficult for my son to open/close. This one doesn't leak, is easy to use and a really good price so is great for school. It's suitable for adults too, just need to squeeze the bottle a bit to get a decent drink out of it. It's good for trips out as we sometimes share the same bottle rather than taking separate kids and adult bottles.

The number of bottles we have tried for our daughter to take to school and all have leaked, apart from this. It is easy to open and fill with a twist top, but also the top can be twisted half a turn to extend and retract a drinking spout. The spout can easily be extended open and retracted fully closed by my six year old. Once the nozzle is fully retracted you can turn it upside down and squeeze it a bit and not a drop comes out! You do get a bit of air when you suck and so it gurggles a bit. All the bottles we've had are the same. My daughter doesn't seem to mind though. I have found that if you squeeze the bottle a bit whilst sucking, this avoids the problem. The nozzle does need taking apart to clean properly. With the lid on the bottle and the nozzle extended, you can push the nozzle sideways to pop open the twisty part of the lid and then it pulls apart into three (see photo). To put it back together after cleaning the nozzle pushes into the twisty part of the lid, then with the nozzle extended you need to line up the markers as shown in the photo and then screw the twisty part of the lid clockwise, applying a bit of pressure on the nozzle as you do this to encourage it to screw down. Once the nozzle is retracted, the twisty part snaps down with further twisting or by pushing it down. See the official Sistema Plastics video on their website for cleaning instructions, particularly if you find mould. Our daughter takes water to school in it and all the kids bottles are kept together for them to drink throughout the day so it has to have their name written on it. Well, the number of times I wrote her name on the side with a marker pen, and every time it got wiped off in days. The solution was to take some fine sand paper and rub the shoulder for the bottle a bit. This takes the shine off and left a smooth strip where I wrote her name with a permanent marker and the name has stayed there legible for months! It is certainly a popular choice of water bottle at school. Now I know how to take it apart and clean it properly I would happily buy another. Very pleased with it overall.

After much trial and error, these are now my preferred choice of bottle for the lunchbox and for school. It is the right size to fit in the lunch bag we use. On hot days I freeze the bottle with water in for an hour or so to keep the lunchbox cool. I have never had a problem with leaking - as long as the lid has been screwed down. I prefer these to bottles with the plastic straw inside as I find they split and no longer attach properly after a few washes. These bottles last forever

If you're sick of your young school aged children dropping and shattering their £10 character bottles I'd recommend buying one or a few of these from Sistema. We went through no end of the big hard plastic character bottles that are massively overpriced because they've got a bit of printing on and they just kept on breaking when dropped, or they'd go missing at school. I only buy these now, they're cheaper but well made and more durable. You don't hold as much as the bigger hard plastic bottles but the biggest one of these holds a good amount and you can always send two.

Bought for littlen and was just looking for a standard drinks bottle. This ticked the boxes, trusted and well known brand, colourful and simple design. Serves its purpose fairly well, is made from a durable and semi flexible material, so suitable for kids use. Twisty valve is easy to open and seems pretty leak proof but not sure i would rely on that too much. Luckily he seems happy with it and it satisfied its purpose, but if it had been bought for me i probably would have returned it, as the valve is really airy and you seem to get more air than drink. He doesnt seem to be overly bothered by this though and it probably helps to stop him guzzling it one go, but does make a fair amount of noise as he drinks as a result.

Just the job for our 3yo grandson! The bottle is easy to clean, (thus far) leak proof and our grandson can open and close the spout himself. So, the bottle is excellent for long car rides. At just £1.50 (including delivery), there's not much to complain about!

I love this brand and it's our first choice for water bottles as they're truly BPA free and leakproof which is great for kids school bag or even holiday activities. We've gone through several of these bottles cos I like to change my kids bottles every term like I change their toothbrushes every 6-8 weeks. It's very easy to clean, love it's straw-free and I'll definitely recommend it to everyone and anyone.

Muy buena botella, llevamos años usando este tipo para nuestras hijas, las tienen al lado de la cama y desde pequeñas saben usarlas y nunca han tenido ningún problema con el cierre. Las lavo en el lavavajillas y no se rompen al caerse ( y se han caído muchas veces). Las recomiendo.

Gourde parfaite. J'en cherche une qui ne fuit pas comme certaine et celle ci et impeccable. Elle ne fuit pas du tout et le système pour la fermer et top et facile pour les enfants.
