Review: Effective - I wanted a quick workout I could do in my living room when I don't have much time (so there are no excuses!). I figure 20 minutes of yoga is better than nothing, but it is hard to believe it could really do much good. I know it does because I definitely felt it the next day and the day after that. Great arm, back, core, and hip exercise. She keeps you moving so that you increase calorie burn(even in traditionally static poses she has you move your arms, etc.). It's great that I can feel like I did something beneficial with just 20 minutes! Review: Quality Control - DVD was defective and did not work. Poor quality control.

Effective

DVD was defective and did not work. Poor quality control.

Wonderful
Love this dvd. Still use it as a good warm up and she's a very great instructor for beginners. Pleasant voice and good speed.

Sara at her best
I have others in this series. This is her best. As yoga instructor to the stars, she must be in her element here, when she is targeting weight loss. I can't agree with the other reviewer who gave it only '3' stars that its not good cardio. Compared to other yoga workouts, its very good on that front. I feel like I have just done 15 min on a treadmill at weight loss target heart rate. But this workout, gives butt toning and thigh strengthening that I would NOT get on a treadmill -- so its really worth it. I did her butt workout (Sculpted Buns and Thighs) in this series as a beginner but would not do *this one* as a beginner without some technique instruction first. Its better for an advanced beginner as she does cobra and upward dog without pointers which could be dangerous without some background. Finally, I got this used from Goodwill of Southern CA & again from Goodwill Oregon; reconsider any used purchases from Goodwill!!! Both times Goodwill shipped the correct DVD jacket with the *incorrect DVD* inside - one time even refusing a return. Run, run far away from Goodwill mail order purchases!Namaste!

Great routine
I have tried quite a few work out at home, lot of them are good but it always seemed to be too long. I owned Sarah Ivanhoe Fat burning 50 minutes routine ( from Crunch), liked it, so when I found the 20 minutes, bought to try it, and immediately loved it. Even though the first 10 minutes, the routines was at the normal pace, the last 10 minutes she hurried up a little bit as it gets to the timing. This routine is short, so you always find time to do it regularly which is the key to achieve the weight loss and I have achieved the muscle tone in no time on top of it. Being a busy working person, and at my late 40, this routine is great for me.

This DVD cracks me up.
As my title says, this DVD really does crack me up. First off, let me say that I like this workout. It really is 20 minutes, and it's nice and relaxing. I had never done yoga before, so it was a great introduction in that way. And Ivanhoe is very likeable and instructive. The reason this DVD is so funny that, well, the workout is tailored for weight loss. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but this typically means that the person doing the workout has a few, or several, extra lbs to lose. I have a mirror in my room so when I'm doing this workout I can watch myself. If I dare. I look like an elephant who has decided to become a ballerina. Basically, I've had to "modify" some of the moves so that I can actually perform them! It's just not possible for my body to do the same things that a 120-pound body can. My only other complaint is that the workout doesn't always keep the heart rate high enough. I don't really consider it a "cardio" workout. Overall, I like to use this DVD for a relax-at-the-end-of-a-long-day kind of workout.

Great Yoga Workout!
This 20-minute yoga session is great! It works all the major muscles and stretches you out great. I'm a runner and need a fast but good yoga stretch and this one does it. It has really helped with my balance and core muscles. I'd recommend it to anyone. My husband enjoys it as well!

Don't bother
Worst yoga DVD I've ever tried. I'm going to stick with Rodney Yee, even his am yoga is better than this.

Great 20 minute routine.
Great 20 minute workout. Routine is easy to follow. Instructor gives clear instructions, so you don't constantly have to keep an eye on her to follow the routine. She also gives you options a couple of time for more difficult poses or to stick with a less challenging pose in a flow sequence.
