This dog car seat is a gorgeous item. It is well made and provides a comfortable, safe place for your dog on car rides. It comes folded and easily unfolds - and can be easily refolded for storage or travel - which is a nice touch. The interior is plush and the bottom cushion is removable and washable. The plush liner under the cushion and that goes up the sides is also easily removable and washable. You can see my pup. Merlin took to it immediately thinking it's yet another soft, cushy bed - of which he has ...erm.. let's just say a few.. This dog car seat comes with straps that you attach to the car seat to keep it in place. However, our didn't come with any instruction on exactly how the manufacturer indeed we do that. We "winged it" and managed to attach the car seat securely to the front passenger seat. It can also be attached to a rear seat. We found putting the straps around the back of the headrest keeps it in place so it's pretty adaptable to different sizes and styles of car seats. There is also a strap to tether to your dog's harness. (Harness not included.) The thing to consider is if your dog will fit. It seems to us that this car seat works for a dog up to about 25 pounds. It is a first rate, quality item. It would make a lovely gift.

I was looking for a big enough pet car seat for my Staffordshire Terrier. She hates the car because she was dumped and is scared to death that every time we take her somewhere that we will leave her. We rescued her and it has taken a good year for her to feel safe and calm. We have an RV and like to take our dogs with us. So we have had to get her used to the car ride. We tried to have her just riding in the seat but she would shake and drool everywhere. I thought a car seat might help. I decided on this style and brand. I have the smaller version for my Frenchies. I needed it to fit in the back seat of a Ford F150 or my Lexus RX300 with the other car seat. I measured about three times to make sure. I also asked the buyer community about the size and I was answered. So I purchased this car seat. It turns out that it was a big hit for our Staffy. She is much calmer and actually enjoys looking out the window now. The other two dogs are in their seat and she sees them and knows everything is ok. The last two times we’ve traveled she has done really well. I love that it was a good value and has great functionality for us. The size is pretty perfect for her. The zipper quality is good and easy to take out the lining to wash. The stability is good. Just make sure you attach everything the way you’re supposed to. I put a blanket down on the bottom because the thickness isn’t great. It just makes it more comfy for her. I did the same for the little dogs. They love going for car rides now. It makes our outings a lot less stressful and more fun for everyone. We are happy with our purchase!

I like a lot about this car seat. First of all, my little Westie, Zoey is safer in this carseat. There are several ways to secure it. I like that it can go in the front or the back seat. I also like that I can clip her in to the car seat. Prior to this car seat, I had to hold her leash while driving in case she tried to jump out the window or I had to stop suddenly. It is comfortable, large enough for her to lie down and sturdy enough for her to put her paws on the edges of the carrier so she can look out the front window. Only complaint is figuring out how to use all the straps to secure the seat in the car. Instructions need to be more clear. Video is somewhat helpful but it goes so fast and does not show each strap, at least not for the front seat. Overall, I would purchase again.

I have attached pictures so you can see how a 20 lb and 45 lb dog fits in this car seat. FIT IN YOUR CAR: I chose this without properly reading that it is made for the backseat. I was focused on finding a car seat large enough to accommodate up to 45#. I was able to squeeze this into the front seat of my Ford Transit Connect cargo van with it covering up the center console (and beloved cup holders). It is physically impossible to fit in front of my convertible, though, and not even sure how it would securely attach in the back as the belt of the carseat is designed to wrap around the seat in your car. COMFORT: The car seat comfortably fits my 45lb baby and even both babies will fit in the seat (without laying down), but they were too excited to sit still for the photos. ELEVATION/SAFETY: The elevated "bed" sits on top of 2 V-shaped vinyl covered somewhat plyable plastic? which CANNOT be removed. For safety purposes it would be it would be nice to have the removal option so the bed could sit down into the frame. The 2 tethers work better than I expected. There is enough movement for Butter (my Frenchie) to walk around on the bed yet still have some safety restraint in the event of accident (although I think harness is better for safety than tethering to collar like shown in pics). STABILITY: Butter moved around on bed just right to make the bed dip a little backwards through the two v's. I don't think it's possible for the bed to completely sink in between the V support, but it did show some instability. BED: The "bed" itself is thin and cheap. I would not even consider purchasing this as a bed for them in my house even if it was $10. (I say this only because I can't think of better way to describe the quality of the bedding). Overall I give it a four-star review because it can accommodate both my dogs, has an easy release to pick up and remove the bed to the back, and has tethering.

This is a fantastic car seat w lots of clever features. The entire seat can collapse to fit into its own carrying bag, though it's easily put together again in 30 sec. The cover that the dogs rest on is silky soft faux fur which doesn't seem to snag dirt and debris. It easyily zips out for washing, and during the summer you can reverse the cover so the canvas side is up and not the fur. The pillow that boosts the dogs up in the seat has a soft foam side akin to memory foam. It's very roomy, I have 2 18 lb cockapoos sharing the large and they can lie down together w/o anyone looking crowded. I bought this to replace a more expensive seat that they'd been using for yrs. and this one is way better made. All the stitching is straight, there's no exposed foam on the bottom, everything is covered and finished off beautifully. It also comes w 2 huge pockets in the front w velcro flaps and more hidden zippered storage in the back. I was able to hang a travel food and water set made by another company onto the front of this seat. I have the large size on the back seat of my SUV and it fully takes up 2 seats which might not be apparent from the picture. It definitely won't fit in your front seat, unless it's a bench, the bottom and sides have something rigid inside so it holds up like a box, which is why it won't go across your front seat overlapping the middle console. Dogs love it too!

This is great and works as described and the inside is very soft. My seven month old dog turned out to be too big for it, which I was surprised by. She is 40 pounds so I guess I shouldn’t have been. But it’s not this company’s fault. It’s a great product.

Easy carry and install for my two fur babies. It looks gorgeous with the clips to secure on the seat. I love where it fits and straps keeping my pups safe

I bought this car seat a few months ago for my 15"/15 lb mini poodle, so he could be high enough to look out the window while sitting and would have plenty of room to curl up for a nap if he wants to. It's exactly what I was hoping for... sturdy, well-made, well-sized, good height, attractive, easy to spot-clean, very comfy, easy to install, adaptable to different seat designs, and the straps feel very secure. I've tried several different kinds of car seats for my dog, and this one is head-and-shoulders above the rest. It's pricier than some other options, but I feel it's an excellent value for the money, and more importantly, my dog feels relaxed and comfortable while I feel good that I'm keeping him safe!

This dog carrier for a car is really good, the size can be for 1 dog ( medium - large ) or two small dogs. It fits on the back seat & we have tried it in the boot without the parcel shelf, in my car it fits nice & firmly with no movement.. The quality is the best I’ve seen, well worth the money. So easy to assemble & a choice of liner inside - furry one side plain on the other. Highly recommend it. We chose this because our dachshund has had major back surgery ( IVDD ) x2 in the last 10 months & needs space to lie flat.

I had hunted for a product like this everywhere and finally found this. I had to cut down the frame inside to keep my Dog’s centre of gravity down in it. The other issue was that the restraint was very flimsy so I tied another lead to him instead. This really needs to be looked at by the manufacturer. Overall better than anything else I could find but could also be so much h better with a could of small tweaks.

J’ai un petit caniche de 6 livres et elle est entièrement en sécurité dans de banc! Elle peut enfin voir à l’extérieur et il est de bonne qualité. J’ai pris la grandeur moyenne et ce n’est pas trop gros. Elle peut dormir dedans. Il est super, les côtés sont solides et le coussin confortable.
