I have had really good luck with SanDisk products

I am a big fan of SanDisk. They are my "go to" brand when purchasing flash memory devices. When I first started purchasing flash memory devices I tried a variety of brands. I learned the hard way that some less expensive devices just didn't last, lost data, or did not always read like they should. Once I purchased SanDisk products I just didn't have problems with them. I have purchased SanDisk SD cards, micro SD cards, and thumb drives. My experiences have all been positive. I still have some from several years back that continue to function well. Most important to me is that I find that they are at a nice price point and, as mentioned, work well over time. I use the micro SD cards for my phones (those that still accept them), my security cameras, and my dash cams. I use this specific "style/series" for the phones and security cameras. I use the SanDisk "Extreme" micro SD for the dash cams. My apologies but I am not an expert at doing bench tests on these products. My only experience is actual use. So my gauge of quality is, "Do they work when I need them to?" Unfortunately, the only measure of this is when they go bad, which does not seem to happen with how I use them. As mentioned, I just don't have the issues I had when I purchased lower priced (quality?) devices. I am sure there are some much more knowledgeable reviewers who can report on transfer speed. It would be great see some of these reports because I have been wondering lately if some of the "higher end" series of micro SD cards are worth the extra price.I do know that I have never had any issues with formatting a card. Most I order come with a card reader. That is nice even though I now have several.Recommend: YESQuestions: Just wondering if there is really that much difference between the various "series" that SanDisk has for their micro SD cards.

Excellent SD card product

These are some of my favorite cards in the micro size: with full size adapter card. I can use in these in a tablet or a dead Android phones..(in my case not working Telephone per se: works on wifi)Deciding what format your going to use is importantDon't just open package and insert. There are 3 types of formatting NTSC for Windows, Fat32**and exFat- which is for multiple systems for best results try to format this way if using in Android products and transferring photos off to a pc (not Linux)I've made a couple of these mistakes along the way. I have SD storage that has corrupted a few hand fulls of photos because I didn't know what I was doing (sadly). You want the card to save your images, in my case... not getting it right is a waste of this High quality card.So take the time if your unsure as I have been.It does pay to ALWAYS get better or best quality cards.I've used smaller sd cards in my digital cameras that are older but can use up to 29/32gb cards.Newer cameras (not phones can use these larger one depending on your device. In which case you format new card inside the camera. I format a new card about 4 times because it takes 2-5 seconds for a 29/32gb card :And it makes me feel betterI'm sure I'm showing my age when it comes to using in mobile devices. There are No instruction manuals to help, So I've had to learn what's going to work in a number of devices.PS. Make sure you have a card reader that is both compatible with your device usb-(?) to usb type (?) And the adapter that comes with card or the reader with tiny slot for micro SD card. I recommend an adapter to insert micro card in first. These are tiny you can lose it, or a cat might enjoy it as a toy...

Great basic SD card. 5/5

I have a five-year-old LG V60 ThinQ 5G. The best phone ever made. If you know you know. It has an SD card slot, Quad-dac, headphone jack, large screen & does everything I need it to. Mine came with a dual screen case in 2020. I thought I was big time with my 64GB Card but my phone was starting to get cramped. There's a right way & a wrong way copy your phone's SD card, if you are lucky enough to have a phone with an SD card slot. Phone manufacturers are going in the wrong direction I make music for a living and work with a lot of people that are technically savvy and knowledgeable about technology. I can't remember the last time I spoke to someone who was excited about their new phone. If you're upgrading a phone's SD card, Installation isn't hassle free but it's not difficult, just time consuming. Especially if you're moving From a smaller card to a larger one. In my case, I couldn't simply clone the card. I ended up doing a copy/paste transfer using my studios desktop. I'm using the phone now. I was able to free up a bunch of internal storage & have it set to save new files on the new card. I have a ton of space now but the process wasn't painless and it took more time than I would've liked. But that had nothing to do with the card itself. Phone is working great with the new card SanDisk makes high quality SD cards I could have went with an A2 card but I'm not recording 4K video in this particular card worked perfectly for 5 years so why mess with perfection right. This card's design is meant for basic everyday storage and backup it's not the SD card you want if you are shooting high-resolution 4K video and all that. But it's the perfect card for what I needed which is phone storage now I have a lot of it I have a couple dozen of these cards. I use them in my MPC & for transferring files to Serato DJ Pro. If you're looking for a solid SD card that will just work, this is it. This isn't the fastest SD card but it's reliable. I probably have about 20 of these and have never had one fail. 5/5
