Have you recently changed your product?It's lighter in color and no longer smells sweet. Now smells burnt or smokey. Not happy.

It smells the same to me. The smell reminds me of a bees hive but very faintly. I've been using this a little over a year. I came across this in California at Bed Bath and Beyond (which they no longer carry). I fell in love with it. It was only available in the small jar so I thought I would see if Amazon carried it. Thank God they did and I was even more excited that they carried the large size jar. Both the small jar & the large size jar smells exactly the same. Reorder it again and compare the two. It's an excellent product & I will keep reordering it for my skin is so much more moisterized by it.

I want this to put on my feet to keep them smooth and moisturized; they get really dry and cracked. Is this good on dry feet instead of petroleum?

I've been using Waxelene for 5yrs. As a cancer patient, the chemo took it's toll on my feet, elbows and hands. Other products were irritating my skin and open cracks would sting. Waxelene is the only product that works wonderfully for me including very sensitive areas on my body. I apply this liberally before bed allowing it to work overnight.

can you put this in your hair?

It's the only product I can use that works for my hair. I love it!! It's not as greasy at traditional petroleum jelly.

Is this product cruelty free?

No, this product is NOT tested on animals, and that is clearly stated on the packaging. Christia’s answer is ridiculous as, because of science and technology, animal testing is largely no longer necessary and products can be proven safe for human use without it.
