Whats the diameter/width of the stopper?

The dimension of the stopper area is 1.49"x 1"x 0.59".

I am not sure where these are made however I use them here on Lake Huron in Michigan where we get very high winds off of the lake November through March and they have held up just fine. I have never had one come lose, break or malfuncion in any other way. I combine them with web straps secured around my tree trunks with 100% success. Prior to using these stakes I have had prize Hydrangea trees sheared off at the roots in high winter winds. I highly rate these.

What is the diameter at the head on the stake (not the stopper)?

Hi friend, the diameter at the head on the stake is 1.5cm. thank you for your question.

could these be used for a swing set?

I don't see why not, I used mine on a shed and they worked great...haven't came out of the ground or anything for 2 years now!
