Stainless steele. They wonder pans. Cooks evenly, easy to clean. I have other pans but they are the first i grab to cook with.

Does the handle get very hot?

We have an electric stove but if you place it over the heat it will get hot. I would guess if you put the handle over the flame a gas stove it would get even hotter. That being said we have not had to use a hot pad when taking the pan off the stove.

The description says non stick, is this a mistake?

They are not non-stick but they are a great little pan I use them everyday. They do clean up nicely.

Are the painted markings lead-free?

They are etched. Lead free paint. You can't use Lead in anything food related.

Worth the money. A bit heavy and the lid handle gets hot. However it cleans easily, cooks evenly and most importantly doesn’t have any Teflon other coating to chip or scratch off!

Perfect match to the Viking set we just bought. We’ll probably use this smaller saucepan more than any other piece. Very high quality. We’re enjoying the tri-clad stainless steel.

Great product and works well. However the metal discolors when high heat is exposed to it. Not sure how to get it back to original. Been unable to contact manufacturer to address this.

This pot is well made and I looked it up and it said it was made in the USA, but I found out it was made in China. Also, The labels and tape were very hard to get off. I had to use Glue remover and my husband had to scrub the glue off.
