Bisht is a traditional Arabic menโs cloak popular in Saudi Arabia and some Arab countries. It is essentially a flowing outer cloak made of wool, worn over the thobe. Unlike the Thobe, the bisht is soft, and it is usually black, brown, beige, cream or grey in color. As winters are warm in this region, the bisht is usually only worn for prestige on special occasions such as weddings, or festivals such as Eid, or for Friday prayer. In Iraq it is worn by tribal chiefs. The bisht is also worn by East African nobility, including tribal chiefs, kings, and imams, over a kanzu or tunic. Dimensions (inches): 48"Width x 57"Length (-/+ 3 inches)

It fit great
I loved the weight of the fabric was very comfortable. I had lots of compliments. Wish that it had the closure tassel in the front that you usually see on most Bisht's....but not that big of a deal. Could always add one myself at some point.

Don't recommend it!
The description mentions it's wool and it's worn by Bedouins in winter "this means it keeps them warm" .What I received doesn't feel like wool at all, the material it's made of is too light to be worn even indoor in winter. This purchase was supposed to be a gift!I do have a real Abaya which I bought during a visit to the Middle East, it's 100% wool, it's classy and it weighs at least 4 times the one I received, and what's important it keeps me warm indoor in winter.
