Not worth it...
I love Think and Grow Rich and want to introduce my kids to the concepts. This is a brilliant idea but the poems are poorly written for illustrating the principles... frustrating, especially at a $20 price point. Returning.

Fantastic!!!!!!
Awesome, awesome awesome we can finally teach our children these fantastic principles. These are lessons more valuable than half of the things taught in schools today. I can't wait to see how these 17 Principles contribute to my daughter and nieces sucesses!!!!!

The Amazing Adventures of Oliver Hill is a fabulous inspiring children's book based on the renowned Napoleon Hill's award-winning Think and Grow Rich. My grandchildren, boys ages 4 and 1, will hear these stories over and over again, as this book teaches seventeen valuable principles for positive living today! The 4-year-old already enjoys The Amazing Lemonade Stand, story. This powerful reading is for children of all ages, simple lessons for adults too!THANK YOU!

Amazing Concept on Napoleon Hill's Classic 'Think and Grow Rich'
First of all, I am familiar with Co-Author Havilah Malone's altruistic work with children. When given the opportunity to check out this publication, I was excited about the whole concept even though I do not have children of my own. So here's my take on it....Once I started reading, I couldn't stop and finished all 17 principles in one sitting! I truly wish I would have been exposed to the success principles in Napoleon Hill's, Think and Grow Rich, in the manner in which Havilah and Diane crafted the principles into stories for children. I am an admitted self-improvement book junkie and I am amazed by the lessons in such short story content. The stories are very easy to read and understand. What impressed me most is the brevity, rhyming technique used, meaning and layered lessons (Like Principle #7 - Positive Mental Attitude (Olivia's New Bike). This principle also had lessons of perseverance, working together, importance of having a vision, resourcefulness, asking for help, preparing for what you want to accomplish, and learning to see things differently, even if it doesn't end as planned.)Principal #13 - Learning From Adversity and Defeat (From Ashes to Black Gold) reminded me of a children's version of the adult short story Acres of Diamonds by finding treasure right at home. Then there's Principle #16 - Budgeting Time and Money (Pay Yourself First) which touches on managing time and money. Not an easy topic for adults! Wow, this was an excellent story to help lay the groundwork and good habits early. I was inspired by reading the stories and can only imagine the inspiration other adults will get when reading the stories to children. The foreword is a perfect introduction to the stories as it emphasizes the importance of reading and its positive impact on children. After reading the stories, there is a brief description of each principle which can be super helpful as children grow into adolescence to young adults. It's as if the book can be a constant reminder at any age. And to top it off, there is a book resource section that breaks down resources for each of the principles. Lots of information condensed in a beautifully illustrated book.Overall, great idea to take the classic Think and Grow Rich and formulate it into a digestible format for the younger generation. Kudos for helping to sow seeds of positive self-worth and greatness in children from an early age (or whenever), providing helpful tools to be good citizens and build successful lives...just a priceless gift for all children. I think I'll go read it again. :-)
