Best grain size
Only reef sand I will ever use. Looks bright white in the tank and the grain size is perfect, not so small that it blows around and makes a mess and not too big for sand sifters.

I have had no issues with the product. Looks great, doesn't blow around so Im super happy. I ordered it through amazon from Petco, great sale price but shipping was an opportunity. I ordered 7 bags total, received 2 manufacturer cases of 2 bags each, came perfect. Petco took 3 bags and wrapped them in a thinner outer lining and put them in an oversized box and shipped. As you can imagine it came all jacked up and leaking. 60 lb. box poorly packaged with fluidized items.... Kind of dumb. I only ended up using one of the bags out of that sloppy box and the other 2 bags are now in the garage.

Easy to use
Can't go wrong with anything Caribsea, I have 8 aquariums up and running and all 8 of them use Caribsea substrates.

Arrives slightly wet
Great sand for cost. Keep in mind that it's not dry, otherwise the course nature is perfect for the Walstad method.

Course sand and cycle the tank quickly
Courser and then my other tank which I think is great. Help cycle my tank in just over one week. Not enough for coral but definitely cycled quickly.
