Not perfect, but close.
The only downsides are lack of height adjustment (there's VESA, for an arm or whatever) and the fiddly OSD. Aside from these two minor details, this is an almost perfect display. It really is fiddly, though. The colours and sound out of the box need tweaking (the sound most of all. I use Equalizer APO to insert a system-wide EQ adjustment). After some wee adjustments the sound is fairly loud and immersive. NOTE: The sound comes out the back of the monitor, so position will affect sound some. Mine is near a corner. There's a headphone socket if you need more. Attaching to speakers is recommended. HDR works flawlessly with Windows HDR switching, if you like that. Games are good enough for me (playing games in 2K is new to me and I'm mightily impressed), but 75Hz might be too slow for serious gamers. The panel itself is flawless. HDMI and DisplayPort both work perfectly though note: I thought DP wasn't working until I pulled out the cable and pushed it back in, except harder this time, and it went "click". /Then/ it worked. It's light and slim and the stand (aside from lack of height adjustment) is quite nice, with a sort of metallic wood-grain, like 90s speakers, but finer. Yes, it's a dust magnet. The bezel is lovely, 8mm in total, the glass a mere 2mm from the edge, and completely flat, so wiping the screen clean is easy. My youngest was most disappointed that it boots up with a picture of Gouldian finches and not Sonic The Hedgehog, as it clearly states on the front that this would be so. Och well. For this level of tech, the price I paid was just silly. Everything has recently gotten more expensive, I thought. So this feels like a stone cold bargain. If you currently use a smallish screen, switching up to a 32" 2K monitor will change your life. 2 A4 pages side-by-side, explorer windows big enough to see all the files, Entire ComfyUI workflows in a single view, I could go on and on. When I was a kid, a 32" TV was considered a BIG TELLY. And right enough it's a beast on your desk. But you'll soon enough get used to it's stature as it comes with such elegance and functionality! It's not perfect, but if you are in the market for a big 2K monitor on a budget, this is worth serious consideration.

A great budget monitor for productivity and gaming. Works well in conjunction with 24inch 1080p
I was a bit concerned by some of the other reviews and how this seemed overly cheap compared to other 1440p 32inch monitors I've been looking at. I did consider instead potentially a 4k 32inch monitor instead, but these would have cost more than twice the price (£170 at time of purchase), and not only that, if I ran at full resolution with no scaling the text would be tiny. Instead, given I had already 3x24inch 1080p monitors (~91ppi), I decided to get this with exactly the same pixel density. Initial impressions are ok, and the plastic does feel a bit cheap, but it doesn't affect the functionality. The monitor has thin bezels which is great when running side by side with other monitors. I thought the input switch was fiddly, but thankfully, there's a quick function button on the monitor, which quickly allows for input switch (or programmable to other functions instead). No dead pixels, and comes with a stand, but it's not height adjustable. However it does come off easily, and the monitor has a vesa mounting allowing for mounting on a monitor arm or wall. Though at the button, it protudes out a bit at the back so gets in the way of my monitor arm mountings, which is a bit of a shame, but not the end of the world unless you're very short on space. Has built-in speakers, but the sound quality is awful, distorted and tinny, even at low volume... Ok to play an email alert, but other than that, just spend even just £10 on some speakers and they'll sound several times better! Pros:- - The bezels are nice and thing around the sides - Adjustment pretty good with a quick setting button - Can be wall mounted/placed on monitor arm - Picture quality is pretty good for text and gaming (so long as you're ok with 75hz) - IPS panel provides decent viewing at pretty much all angles. - 2560x1440 resolution looks good and comfortable enough to run at 100% scaling. - Pixel density is perfect to go along side 24inch 1080p monitors. Cons - Stand is not height adjustable - The frame can interfere a bit with some monitor arms - Speakers are dreadful sound quality Overall, if you're on a budget, you should get on really well with this monitor. I run it with several 24" 1080p and it's been brilliant for WFH, and some casual gaming at 2560x1440p. Certainly much better than I'd expect at this price, 100% recommended.

Great value for money!
Getting older now so needed a bigger monitor than my 24" jobby as my eyes aren't what they used to be! This is a great bit of kit, in the menus you can alter so much but it works a treat straight out of the box. It's an helluva lot of monitor for the price. Sound quality is excellent. Ordered it on three day delivery to save on carriage but it arrived the very next day. Thanks Amazon, that's why I use you!

Text looks a litttle oddly lumpy, but otherwise a good value 1440P
There's something "off" about this monitor's pixels that I can't quite put my finger on, but I rather fear the "sharpening" option has something to do with it - compared to other monitors, text is very unevenly shaped and looks quite unusual. Reducing the sharpening option from the default 50% helps a bit, but the result still looks poor and a bit 'lumpy'. Otherwise, this monitor is what I expect from Viewsonic - great colours, good blacks, flat display (flat thin bezels). Audio is "ok" but rather hollow sounding. Stand base seems very large, and only has a limited tilt feature. Dual HDMI plus DP input is good (no VGA analogue though). No obvious dead pixels. But for 1440p, at the discount price, I have no real complaint and can use this as a primary monitor.

Excellent Image Quality and Rich Colors
We bought the ViewSonic VA3209-2K-MHD 32" for our home office and everyday video watching. The image quality is excellent, and it’s neither harsh on the eyes nor delayed in display. I purchased it for £165 and am very happy with it. I hope it lasts a long time. Compared to the BenQ eye-care monitor I’ve used for years, I prefer the richer colours of the ViewSonic VA3209. I bought it in April, and now it’s even cheaper (around £139), which makes me a bit regret buying it so early. But that’s always the case with tech products—you never know when the lowest price will be.

big view with great resolution
This is a great monitor at a great price with the resolution just right (2K+). The colours are good and bright enough to work comfortably. Bonus: Totally not expecting to have built-in speakers, although simple - don’t expect super bass, can be super useful at times.

INCREDIBLE VALUE!
Absolute gem of a monitor! I've been using this for about two months now, mainly for home office work (MS Office) , occasional photo/video watching etc. I have been very happy with it. Very clear, excellent colours. Monitor itself is a sleek-build, narrow bezel etc. Yes, speakers are a point to moan about, maybe, but who cares, put your headphones on - this is not supposed to be a TV. Bottom line: please consider that you are getting a 32" QHD monitor for less than £150. This is UNBELIEVABLE VALUE!

Good quality monitor for its price.
Good resolution and colour rendition. For £170 it was great value compared to the other manufacturers. I had no problem with the OSD, just read the instructions.

Large screen with very vivid colors
At first I thought such a large monitor size (32in) would be overwhelming. Nope! I love all the available real estate do be able to do work & viewing on. The price is about what I expected. I have had Viewsonic monitors in the past and they have all worked very well. This is meant to be used with engineering software for rendering drawings, simulations & data crunching/displaying on MATLAB & Python. Let the fun begin...
