Original Official Samsung Galaxy Note8 LED View Wallet Case (Deep Blue)

I had this for my note 4 (a different version) for a few years and it was great. While it stopped working after about a year, it continued to provide a nice space for 3 cards for me in that older version. This new version is improved, feeling almost velvet soft and the interior so far can only hold two cards. What is cool/new is that the Note 8 now has a specific menu for customizing the LEDs on this cover....so you can choose present symbols to show when certain contacts call you or you can create your own LED design using the 50 x 30 LED grid guide inside the menu of the phone. I also like that this version mount using a turtle shell tray style, instead of the old version where you removed the rear cover and affixed it to teh back of the phone. This is a good cover for your note 8.

I'm enjoying this case, however I just wished that it displayed the callers name even when placed in a group. Only the icon assigned shows, which makes you have to open the phone to see which person is actually calling.

I love this case! It protects my phone well and I enjoy the icons that show up on the front when it is closed. This case also works well with the Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand. I do sometime have to open the case when a place it on the charger, but when the charging light comes on I close it.

This case is awesome. It really has cool digital graphics that display when you close it. I also purchased the Whitestone Dome Glass which fit perfectly with this case. I would definitely purchase it again. As a matter of fact, I may purchase it in another color.

Why since my note 8 did the last update my cover stop working. No screen on. Look to me like the force you to buy the new note 9 and the case.

A lovely looking case, certainly a genuine Samsung product. Doesn't add too much "bulk" to the phone unlike other flip cases.The LED notifications on the face of the cover are pretty neat , though I must say the Samsung Galaxy S View cases that were available for the s6/ s7 was much more useful / functional and also the cases were leather effect so we're smooth and easy to clean, whereas this LED view cover is material and although has a lovely texture and provides grip , it gets dirty very quick.Another negative is that the case doesn't really stay closed shut , I've dropped the phone and the case has flown open, phone was fine as it landed on the back which is protected , but the phone cover should stay closed.Even taking the negatives mentioned above , still pleased with the case, as I did buy it cheaper than full price , if I bought it at the original price (£45 ISH I think is RRP) then I'd be less pleased.

Perfect for what I needed.Wanted a flip style cover, as my phone was often loose in my bag, and my old case left the screen protector getting scratched, which want good.I like that I can customise, and create my own led notifications, so for each person, or app etc whatever I want to appear does.When music is playing and the led cover is closed, a graphic equaliser plays on the display, which I quite like.Only downsides are that the surface gets dirty easily, and doesn't clean off so easily, and the are where the phone is contained, the outer shell is peeling away from the hard parts that hold the phone in place.Other than that does the job it was intended to do. Just looks a bit scruffy already.

Coolest case ever to match a fabulous phone. The led lighting is so good especially when you have your phone in your bag (like me!), but the functionality is really good as you are alerted when a message comes through and of course when you receive a call. The time comes on every time you open it so it's not on constantly which is great as I imagine that could be quite annoying. The only drawback is that it doesn't alert when you get a call through an app eg Whatsapp, and when it displays a call it displays the number not the contact name in your phone. Overall fab fab fab....big well done Samsung, great phone and great accessory!

Great case BUT, it's worth noting, wireless charging gets paused every time the cover comes on.This means that if you get a notification during charging, it pauses the charging and then resumes afterwards (probably because the phone powers the case and therefore the charger has to stop momentarily)This isn't too much of an issue unless you are using the Samsung wireless car charger because it tends to put this particular charger into 'safe mode' meaning very slow charging speeds unfortunately.Other than that, the case is built great and the LED screen is fantastic.

De muy buena calidad al tacto y a la vista, los leds son algo muy original y lo hacen muy llamativa.Lo único malo que le saco es que después de un tiempo de uso los bordes donde se pliega se van arrugando y desgastando, por el echo de llevarlos en los bolsillos y el roce, pese a eso muy contento con la funda y eso que llevo ya 1 año aprox con ella
