Loud but great!
My 7 year old grandson picked up on it right away! Easy to play! There’s no volume control so it’s loud.

If you already know how to play a keyboard instrument you'll pick this right up
Melodicas are a great instrument for noodling around, and this particular one will suit a musician well for a very reasonable price. I found the tone was very pleasing and dynamic. Unlike some reviewers I did not find it difficult to play two or three note chords. While the hand strap is a little tight (my hands are medium size; forget it if you have large hands!), the instrument is easy to carry and play. The two "snorkel" mouthpieces make it easy to lay this melodica on a table and experiment, and the two different short mouthpieces allow the traditional playing position. This instrument does have a moisture release key (a.k.a. "spit valve"), and I found the intonation to be well tempered and generally accurate. At under 50, this is a good value!

Ok
Got them for a friend

Toy with a price of a toy.
It's very plastic, one of the keys is hard to press but it produces sound and it's in tune.
