It's great as it does not require any drivers
My motherboard did not have a USB 3.1C header, this solved the problem for me I can now use the USB-C front panel connector on my PC Case.It's great as it does not require any drivers.

Didn't work in my motherboard
Constantly crashed during boot when used with my Motherboard and Case combination - ASRock B550M Pro 4 and Jonsbo N4 case. Removing the adapter and not using the USB C port on the front of the case resolved the issue completely.
