Warm & comfortable
Does a good job with shoulders and neck. The heat is comfortable, and the fit is very good!

Excellent!
Great product. Fits pefectly around my neck and upper back/shoulder and sufficently heats my sternocleidomastoid muscle and upper trapezius muscle. No adjustments need once set in place. The weight and magnets hold the heat pad in place to direct the heat to the intended muscles.

Does the job, isn’t life changing
I have a chronic pain condition and rely on this for almost all day use (at least 5 times a day). I purchased this in April of this year and it is now doing an immediate auto shutoff when I turn it on. Waiting on the manufacturer to get back to me about the warranty. Heat: It gets very hot and up until recently was able to hold that heat no problem. the neck cuff does not heat well compared to the rest of the product, and I mainly needed it for the neck. It was maybe 2 small heat cords in the neck and they do almost nothing. If I was to increase the heat in order to get more heat on the neck I would burn myself with the rest of the pad. Weight and flexibility: this stays in place really well. The neck has a flexible piece in it that holds shape and can contour well, and the weight of the shoulder pieces keeps it on my body well. I would have returned it for something else but I just couldn’t be bothered. If you are a sporadic heat pad user then this is absolutely for you. If you are a chronic pain/every day user then spend the extra money to get something perfect.

This contoured heating pad relieved cramping in my neck while soothing my right shoulder
This heating pad gave me the first relief I ever had from neck cramps which followed my cervical fusion in 1998. I highly recommend it

Great product
Has great heat, but could use more weight in the shoulder area. Maybe it's me.

Great but doesn’t last
I loved this thing! Worked fantastic. But it recently quit working after less than two years. I feel like for the price it should have lasted longer than that.

Does what it says on the tin
I got this neck and shoulder heating pad on impulse a couple months ago when I was going through a severe bout of neck and shoulder pain, which I suffer frequently as a desk worker. My chief complaints are neck and shoulder tension, with an RSI centered in my right front shoulder. I find it's actually helpful. The heat is concentrated more on the neck than the shoulders, so it is better for neck pain than shoulder pain. There is still enough heat on the shoulders that it can be soothing there as well. That said, on Whiny Shoulder Days, I find myself wishing I had a heating pad that was able to give more focus and heat to the shoulders. There is a good amount of heating reaching the upper back, right around that part of the spine that's like the hinge point between neck and back. It doesn't reach much further down than that. If you get a lot of tension between your shoulder blades, this isn't going to touch most of it, only the very upper parts. I find that trying to shift the pad back to reach those spots doesn't really work, it seems like more heat is needed to reach those deep muscles. There is a bendable wire running through the pad that allows you to mold the pad around your neck as closely or as loosely as you need, and magnets in the front flaps that let you close the pad like a cape. The pad is thick, reasonably soft, and suitably weighty, with beads sewn into the outer edges all around that help with weight and stability and probably also keep heat from radiating out through the edges. The auto shut off works consistently, so I'm not overly paranoid about leaving the thing unattended. It has 4 heat settings and I always use either level 3 or 4, the two highest settings. Level 4 is hot enough most of the time, and occasionally too hot, so I'm overall happy with the heat output - I just wouldn't exactly turn down a level 4.5. The power cable is detachable right at the pad so if you need to get up and don't want to shed your cloak, you can detach the cord instead and survive on residual heat. The detachment mechanism isn't the easiest to use, it's a squeeze type that always reminds me too emphatically about the tension in my arms and hands, but that difficulty keeps it secure all the rest of the time so what are ya gonna do. While the heating pad doesn't eliminate all tension and pain, I find that it keeps me more relaxed and it can help unlock a lot of the tightest spots on bad days. It seems to also improve my neck and shoulder mobility. I really enjoy when I've used it for a bit and I roll my head and shoulders for a quick stretch and get a bunch of pops and crackles, and suddenly my neck feels more right - like something that was in the wrong spot has finally shifted into the right spot. I have been surprised at how useful it is and it's now part of my routine for releasing pent up neck tension. It's not a cure all, but it is a good tool. My husband steals it to wrap around his arm for his wrist tension. He says it's flawless for that purpose. Bottom line, if you have neck tension, this heating pad is a solid choice. If your concerns are anywhere else, then there's a chance this won't suit you best. It's tailored for neck use and it does that well.

LOVE! Exactly as advertised and expected!
Hubby and I are fighting over this so I'm here to buy another. NO COMPLAINTS...obvi! Prior to purchasing I'd noticed some negative reviews concerning heat issues, fit issues (how's that even possible??) and it not being what they "expected". All I can say about that is I've learned far too many peeps purchase items without reading, researching, checking reviews, etc. There is NOTHING WRONG with this item! It would/should "fit" anyone, bcoz I'm a very tall/big girl and he's a rather small/lanky guy yet it "fits" both of us perfectly. It heats evenly, comfortably and quickly. Has 4 Temps from Low to High and we've not made it past #2 bcoz it gets pretty darn warm on #2. It's convenient as heck, and even has a release button so you can walk-away still wearing it for those trips to the kitchen/bathroom/wherever then return and plug it back in -- meaning the cord stays and you just walk around with a still warm neck wrap. SUPER-cooL. We LOVE to wear it while sitting at the desk on our computers bcoz it's addressed pain, tightness and neck tweaks beautifully. Game changer! LOL Imagine anyone who sits long spells doing anything where they're looking down would love it as much as we do. Don't expect it to warm your back bcoz it's a NECK warmer, and nowhere does it say/read that it does warm the back. Yes, perhaps it'd be nice to have a design that does both but we already have their back warming massager (LOVE them too) and, honestly, I'm betting if they made one that did both areas those same chronic complainers would have something negative to say. Guess it's true....ya just can't please everybody. Especially folks looking for something to complain about simply so they can vent -- or get their money back! Like I've said, the two of us love this...kinda obvi since I'm here to grab a 2nd so we're not fighting over it (same thing happened when I bought myself their back warming massager 2yrs ago. LOL) We've both been in multiple car accidents over our lifetimes so we've chronic neck and back issues. If you're wavering or vacillating just BUY IT. Oh, and btw, it can even be placed in a washing machine! What? I know, riiight? That's kinda crazy-AWESOME. Just sayin. BIG thumb's UP!!!
