Excellent specimen of a cobra. Was used to create a diaroma for a 1st grade project. He received an A+ & was the best one in the class. He did the project himself and it was so far beyond what other children in his same class & grade level presented for their project. I was so so proud of the effort he put into learning about Cobras & how intelligent a 6 year old is. Definitely worth purchasing.

It was first put into a soft transparent bag, and then into a stiff transparent bag. The latter was then closed with three staples and a cardboard identifier tag. If not for the fragile double tongue of the king cobra snake figurine (which is otherwise very robust), this packaging would be adequate. I was very fortunate to receive the item undamaged. You may not be as fortunate. This is the ONLY reason that I did not award five stars (instead of just four). In my opinion, this item should be identified as a highly-detailed figurine, and not a toy. There are many toy cobra snakes which one may purchase, which are made of a soft and flexible polymer, and which are superb to serve as toys for children’s play. Such items are not suitable for poising to strike, and then hands off. In choosing the Animal World Gemini&Genius King Cobra Figurine, poised to strike, I need an item which is not flexible, and will hold the pose, for inclusion in a diorama. The size is correctly described in the web site, and is suitable for my purposes. I am delighted with the colors and wonderful detail!!! The only drawback is the black double tongue, which is very delicate and breakable. I must always be certain to handle the figurine carefully. I would be happier if both halves of the double tongue were of the same length. Inasmuch as the figurine portrays a living creature, it is probably more realistic if the lengths are different. I think that it is easily worth the price.

It looks good. Not too big or small. Balanced well too. . . . . . . . . . . Answer: twice as long as it is from the middle to either end.

I like this one. Its a bit pricey I think but it looks good for keeping away stray animals.

This was great! We used this for a project my son had to do, and it was so cool! He got so many compliments on how life like it was and the way it was placed in his diorama made it look just like if it was in the wild.
