American Tourister Moonlight Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Rose Gold, Carry-On 21-Inch

Love this! Got the 28 inch one for college to fly back and forth each semester. I’ve had it for 2 years now. Holds a lot of stuff. Very durable and pretty. After being thrown down the stairs and in airports, the logo came off, but I can just super glue that back on no problem. Easy to move too. Read many reviews that say it gets easily scratched and damaged-this is probably true, and will happen to any that’s a light color other than black or gray. Simple solution-get one of the clear luggage covers. Only like $10 and work great to protect the suitcase. Only thing that’s scratched up is the very bottom of it, near the wheels but you can’t see that. Another trick, don’t over fill it too much. The suitcase needs to be a bit bendy when set on or pressed, this will keep it from cracking (goes for every hard shell suitcase). Overall, love it and matches my passport cover and tags. I’m buying another one to go with it for my trip to Greece.

LOVE! I'm not Dean, I'm his wife Erika. Bought this for a 3-week vacation that involved flying cross-country, and then road-tripping across the East Coast with our family and baseball team. Performed like a champ!! I checked it both directions (JetBlue, non-stop), and not a scratch on it! I expected it to be a little banged up, but it still looks brand new. I love the expander zipper - thought I would need it on the way home but managed without it. Roller wheels are fantastic - rolled so smoothly, was really a dream to travel with, whether we were in an airport, a roadside motel, or a NYC high-rise hotel. I'm used to soft-sided luggage with pockets and a lift-top opening, so the book-style opening takes up more space in a hotel room, but it was fine. LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. Our 13yo boy was envious so now I'm looking for it in a shade that is acceptable to him. I should also add that I came across this bag when I was looking for a rose gold bag that Nordstrom sells - it was BEAUTIFUL but more expensive and reviews were mixed. This bag is SO PRETTY (I was worried til I saw it when it arrived) and it performs like a champ. GREAT VALUE!

I'm IN LOVE with this carry-on, marble suitcase! It's my first hardshell. It's smooth, lightweight, beautiful interior and roomy. The handle is asjustable; the suitcase rolls smoothly. Some reviews have mentioned that the extendable handles create 'ridges' on one side of the interior; while this is true,I've never NOT had handles create ridges on the interior. I use the 'slight' ridges to my advantage and lay my socks/undergarments/straightening iron, etc. to ' fill in the ridges' to create a flat base for my pants. I use the 'unridged' side for my shirts, etc. It has a tiny wet bag that will hold a few items. While I have not yet traveled with the suitcase, I can't speak to It's durability, however, if it doesn't stand up to the rigors of travel, I'll update this review. If there's no update from me, this translates as 'no news is good news.' Ps. I have a smaller personal item lack bag with a shoe department (that will strap/affix to the handles) for my toiletries, shoes, etc.; an eye-catching, winning combo! Don't hesitate to buy this carry-on! It's gorgeous!

This is my first venture into the hard-side luggage world and I'm glad I went this route. Interior design wise, this is superior to soft-side luggage of the same type. What I like: It's light, offers a good amount of space inside, has perfectly placed straps on one side and a zipper closure for shoes, etc. on the other side. It does have a small zipper pocket on the bottom of the one side but it's not very deep so it's really only suited for things like a to-go pack of tissues, cuff-links, things like that. What I don't like: You get what you pay for... or should I say you don't get what you don't pay for? Yes, this has 4 wheels and will spin around, but try something at a higher price point like Away's The Carry-on and you'll instantly feel the difference. These wheels feel like they're out of balance and don't quite roll the direction you want them to. Again, they work, just not as nicely as I would have liked. The pull handle feels flimsy and is a pain to get in the right spot. I have to constantly adjust it after pulling the handle out because it fails to lock into place at the right height. I also wouldn't throw your backpack over the handle to rest on the luggage while you wheel it around either. I really don't trust the long-term durability of it if you're going to do that. Again, it works, it just leaves a lot to be desired for my standards. Given the choice of materials for this, I also question how long it will hold up. Yes, as long as it is actually used as carry-on, it should hold up fine. But for those times when the overhead bins are full and you now have to check it at the gate, I do question if it'll last for years. At this point it has held up well through the 6 flights I've taken it on thus far so I can't knock it too much. I was being cheap and should have spent more money for something nicer. If you get this for under $100 I think it's a solid deal.

Beautiful, sturdy, and lives up to the information shared on site. Love the ability to expand and still fit as a carry on. It rolls easily and smoothly, and handle is a comfortable height when extended. It is extremely lightweight, yet strong. Looking forward to many years of use!

Previously had cloth suitcases, but with all the traveling I have done lately and have seen how luggage gets thrown around, I decided to go with a hard-shell luggage set. Decided to go with a name brand. Has a vinyl lining. Good capacity and like the expansion size it can go up to. Like the spinning wheels and rollability; like the length of the handle; like the color; like the different sizes (20-24-28); like that they fit into one another...just make sure you watch how you take them out of one another, so you know how to restore them! Purchased the silver color, thought it would stand out more than a blue or black set.

I’ve used the 28in expandable luggage for many long trips over the last 5.5 years. I am just now looking to replace it because the zipper is coming detached and it is becoming difficult to roll around. It’s definitely a good purchase if you need a luggage for extended trips and you want to keep your bag under 50 lbs.

Its a pretty suitcase but it scratches/dents easily. The first time using this suitcase we were asked to check in our hand luggage, when I got it back it turns out that it couldn't handle rough handling. It had black scratches, might not be a good brand after all.

A mother's day gift to my wife. She was thrilled and loved it so much taking a selfie with it. The brand is always a guarantee of quality and this time comes with a gorgeous outlook. A must for a female traveler.

The appearance matches the photo. It is strong to handle a lot of pressure with over-packing. Had it filled beyond, and survived six flights with no issue. My favorite part is the wheels. They don't just point in one direction... they let you roll the luggage in any direction, so hauling it long distances in airports, on escalators, etc was an actual enjoyable experience. I am not making this up. I was very aware of how satisfying it was, even at times that I'd slide it ahead of me, letting it go, then catching up to it a few feet later, like a toy. LOL. I rarely even review on Amazon, but this is a sincere, high-five one.
