We rent and can't drill holes in owners rock patio. Best ideas to keep this secure without drilling?

You can purchase longer spikes to secure your pergola to the ground. That worked for me.

What wind rating does it hold up too

We recommend you secure this pergola on the concrete patio with M6 expansion screws on each leg. It would stand up to 40mph winds when set in concrete.In windy days, Fold the canopy to prevent the top cloth from shaking in the wind.

Does the canopy prevent rain from coming through?

Yes it is waterproof but if there is a large amount of rain water will run out the sides
