These are perfect for clipping my hair out of my face. I am growing out my bangs and need a barrette daily. Not only are these beautiful, but they hold my hair in place without slipping. The standard metal ones always seem to move. These are the perfect size, the perfect fall colors and the perfect weight. The variety of colors are fabulous. Will they hold down a ponytail...no.
