So far, these have really made my dog happy. She has arthritis, kidney problems, and is just getting old so while we give her joint chews as recommended by our vet, she still has gotten to where she doesn't like to stand for long eating or walking around outside which she used to like. These braces really seem to help her feel better when walking/standing and she seems to really like them. We don't keep them on all the time, just a couple hours on., take off for resting, then put them back on to go outside or eat. The first time we put them on, she walked around like a person trying something out and she decided she really likes them. She gets excited when I pick them up and she's normally a very laid back, calm dog but she'll get another "gear" when going outside with these on and it seems like she doesn't have as many problems walking around and being active. The velcro seems to almost do too good of a job of sticking but if that's all, then we can deal with that easily. Once they wear out, we will probably get another set.

Helped stabilize my dog quite a bit until we realized there’s a hip problem too. My dog is about 53lbs but super skinny legs. We could have gone a size smaller. She walks a bit peg legged in them, but that helps recovery. Arthritis in older dogs is horrible to watch, so anything that provides some comfort is a help.

DON'T USE FOR A BULLY

These hock wraps are extremely difficult to put on. I have a Lab so lots of leg to cover. Hard to keep in place while wrapping the velcro. Velcro straps are too long and while wrapping around the leg the whole wrap slips down and you have to start over. A better design would be to have the hock opening on the solid part so you could place it over the bone then fasten. The wrap works wonders once in place. 5 stars on that. But unless you are familiar with velcro wraps this will be difficult if not impossible to apply.

My dog has some kind of sprain- but nothing specific happened - and out of nowhere lets out a whine once and a while during play!!! Oh no my baby! So I got these- I think they help! She seems to like them- doesnt take them off and after a few hours starts jumping around the house!!(but No crazy play cause she still needs to heal.) I ordered small for my 80 pound king shepard with skinny legs-it fits well so make sure u measure! They have good support padding could use a touch more- but if she's happy.. dog mom is happy-

I have only tried the single wrap set, size Large, on our 15.5 year old Samoyed (50 lbs.) that was having a bit of trouble keeping her back legs straight. Was laying down to eat and stumbling on changing surfaces. and a bit of splaying. I measured with a string around the hocks and the Large size seems to fit perfectly. I put them on her and she loved them immediately and her gait and walking has improved dramatically. She wanst them on all the time and doesn't care when we put them on her. We have only had them a few days, so I limit her to a few hours at a time. Mostly when we go for walks. They have added a lot of stability and she doesn't stumble as much. She has been on Librella for about 14 months too. The braces have been a blessing. We also brought the Super Size braces with 4 Velcro straps, and for some reason the measurements said size Medium. We have not tried them yet as we are cautious not to provide too much support until needed. I think they will really help, but the smaller sets has made such a dramatic improvement already. Strongly recommend. Better than we could have hoped for.

My dog doesn't care for them and there a pain to put on him, you need an extra hand because the Velcro is sticking everyplace it's just a pain to put on

Our 13-year old senior lab mix has been dealing with instability from two torn ACLs for over a year. Per our vet, he's too old to risk surgery, so we've been looking for something to help him walk and stand a little easier. These did the trick! He actually trotted when he was out on his walk yesterday, which he hasn't done in forever (see video). Measurement chart was accurate. Choose size based on those leg measurements and not just on the overall breed size. The braces were relatively easy to put on and adjust. They're not super heavy duty, but the price is just right. Ordering a 2nd pair for him now so we can switch them out if they get too flimsy after a while. Very effective for our guy! He seems a lot more stable on his feet now and is having an easier time getting up from his bed.
