I am an arachnophile. I even have a pet jumping spider. I saw this whole shopping for Halloween costume ideas and I couldn't wait, I pinned it to my purse and have been wearing it every day. It's beautiful and strange in just the right way. Not too creepy, just... curious. Love love love. Great quality, too, not just a cheap costume accessory but it's a decent broach or lapel pin. It also has loops under the front legs to wear on a chain as a pendant.

The brooch is lovely but the pin was poorly positioned. I needed to adjust the "legs" it was attached to and had to pry the clasp open with tweezers to get it to work. However, it is cute and cheap and well worth the money and the time it took to arrive (came about 1 month after predicted arrival)

For the price, this piece of costume jewelry looked better than I expected when it arrived. The piece is of good size (over 1" wide) and sturdy construction. The body of the spider is well crafted with some marcasite-like sparkling stones and a strong shiny metal used for the remainder. The forelegs of the spider also have loops on the underside should you want to string this piece onto a chain and wear as a necklace. I'm very happy with this purchase overall. The one complaint I had is that the shipping took so long. I received a three-week estimate for arrival of the pin and when it still hadn't arrived several days after the promised delivery date, I attempted to contact the seller to get a tracking number or new delivery date. The company never responded to my email. The piece did show up a few days later, however.

The product arrived about a month late (it took three months instead of two months) and the company explained to me that customs had delayed the shipment. That's plausible to me, so I waited as they asked. The spider is absolutely gorgeous and it's colored just like hematite. I love it! If you like beautiful creepy things, totally get this. I'll probably use it in a cosplay sometime. The craftsmanship on my spider was perfect. It does have a cheap clasp. It doesn't have that little circle that spins around to lock the pin in place. So it's fine on clothing, but it wouldn't put it on a purse or something like that. It might come off. I'm really happy I bought this. Update March 2022 I have had this on my winter scarf for 2 years and it's still looking great.

These are cute, but I've had to buy replacements because they break fairly easily. Still worth the proce, just be careful with them.
