I've tried this in multiple different ways and didn't like it but tried it today in milk blended with my creamer mixer and it was not too bad. The mix was hard to dissolve with a stir stick but then used my creamer mixer and worked well., This caused 4 oz of milk to fill a 12 0z cup to the top with foam. The drink still had grittiness o it but the flavor wasn't that bad. It will take some time but making into a froth helped. For quality of the ingredients being all natural, I would have to recommend this as a high protein alternate.

By far the best protein I’ve ever had. The taste and texture are excellent, and pure. This has been the only protein I have been able stomach during my pregnancy. It’s funny how the body knows when something is good for you:) Update: Two years later and I can still say this is the best protein ever. I love this brand. I would try all their products but they are usually sold out. Love love love. 2025 now. Still drinking this most days. I just started using coconut milk in my diet and it mixes really well with this protein. I don’t mind a little grittiness, i actually kind of like it, but for some reason, maybe the fat content, the coconut smooths it out.

The flavor is ok. Nothing bad or great about it. The ingredients list is impressive. The only issue is it does not mix very well.

Let's clear up a few things first. 1. "All natural" is a vague term and doesn't necessarily mean the product is better than anything else. Arsenic, for example, is "all natural." 2. Protein powders are inherently terrible. Now, this product has "all natural" ingredients, and I have no reason right now to doubt the quality of the ingredients, but there is a reason why other protein powders add a few things to make it more palatable. It mixes reasonably well with both water and milk, though I haven't tried it with that "insidious" cow milk, and it can still leave a few chunks if you don't do it thoroughly enough. It tastes better with almond or coconut milk. Straight water is not pleasant. That being said, I don't drink chocolate milk, but I am a chocolate snob, and this product definitely does not have a very good flavor. See note #2 above. I use stevia in my chocolate for a few reasons, and it does impact the flavor of the chocolate with a slight aftertaste, so if you're fine with that, this might work for you. Since we're on the subject of flavor, the texture of this is still gritty. Ground up rice and peas will always be gritty no matter how much you try to deceive yourself into thinking otherwise. I would rank the flavor of this product only slightly higher than Palmer's chocolate or a day-old McDonald's cheeseburger. Would I recommend this product? If you're a vegan, hippie, Gaia-lover, crunchy whatever, and want a plant-based protein shake, this is for you. If you don't care, buy something else.

I was excited to try this instant breakfast as a healthier way to start my day. I mixed it in a blender bottle for convenience, adding 1/4 cup (4 Tbsp) to 12 ounces of water and then shaking. Before mixing (which it did easily), I noticed that the color varied (as shown in the picture), which I saw as a good thing in that it showed it was made of real ingredients. Drinking the mix, I didn't have the greatest experience. It was watery, lacked much flavor, and was very pasty/gritty. It didn't taste bad, but I wouldn't call it delicious. I had to mix it often to keep the ingredients in suspension. After drinking it, I started to wonder how it would be in a no-bake, high-protein breakfast bar with oats, nut butter, and the mix. I think I'd enjoy it most in that format. Overall, I'd give this mix 4 stars for what it is, a simple, natural, healthy, and vegan protein or meal replacement shake. I appreciate it for that. I wouldn't call it delicious, but again I don't dislike it. It's probably best with a more flavorful mixer.

I bought this because it was the only product I could find without fake "natural flavors" or any gums or thickeners in it. Great to see a company actually use real raw ingredients for taste. Mixed it into almond milk and it tasted even better than chocolate milk. It could use some mixing instructions, but I found that about 12oz of liquid is the perfect mixing amount per serving. Will be buying again in the future.

I enjoyed this vegan plant based protein powder. I used it mixed with no sugar added almond milk and also water. It is MUCH better mixed with almond milk. It mixed well with both water and almond milk but the taste just lends itself better to the milk. Considering this product contains no artificial flavors I would say the taste is as good as it gets while still meeting that criteria. 18 grams of protein with only 2 grams of fat and 2 net carbs is a pretty great macronutrient make-up as well. With only 10 servings per container it's not the world's best value but it's still pretty comparable to other offerings. That would be my only complaint.

This Earth Cultivated Instant Breakfast 10oz pouch should be an instant breakfast on its own but was disappointed in the lack of flavor. Used 4tbs with water and ice to make a smoothie. Just tastes like blah protein. No flavor and leaves a filmy feeling powder aftertaste. Used as an additive to a regular drink might be great for the nutritious ingredients as a supplement. With cacao, vanilla bean and stevia in this powder, should be able to really taste those, but did only a little. The pouch has a recloseable seal and no "fresh by", "use by" or "expire" date printed anywhere. Manufactured in Portland, OR. so Made in the USA! is a plus.
