Chromium Picolinate 1000mcg, 180 Tablets

I take chromium picolinate supplements to aid with blood sugar control and metabolism, with the approval of my doctor. This bottle has small tablets very similar to other brands I have taken, in a quantity of 180 which is a good value. This chromium compound (picolinate) is considered an excellent dietary supplement for delivery of chromium, an essential mineral. This bottle arrived with a good quality safety seal and well-made round tablets. The dosage of 1000 mcg (one tablet daily) is good for a daily supplement, according to current research. PrimaForce, the brand-name supplier, has provided their U.S. address identification, ingredient data, lot number, and expiration date - all labeling information considered essential in the U.S. I notice that all published information is careful not to tell you source country of manufacture, so it is a good bet this is made outside the U.S., with testing by a "3rd party". Since I switched to this product, I have noticed no difference from my other major brand-name chromium picolinate. The tablets are odorless and easy to swallow with water. I recommend that you try this product for a good price/value if you want to supplement your chromium intake.

The package directions say one little tablet per day. I don't even need water for a tablet that size, but they suggest drinking half a pint of water with each tablet, so OK. These pills are more affordable than a few other brands I looked at. I don't feel different taking this pill, which is what I would hope for. It's supposed to improve my liver function, and since I am overweight, that is a concern I have. I am also taking green coffee. Literal green coffee. I used to roast coffee, so I still have some green coffee beans, and every morning I grind some up (that takes effort with my manual grinder; they are tougher than roasted beans) and eat the powder, probably cheaper than buying pills of green coffee. It has been effective, but I am really supposed to combine it with a chromium supplement like this one to increase the effectiveness.

The PrimaForce Chromium picolinate states that it is 'manufactured for' but doesn't specify where, so it is safe to say it is imported. They also boldly state that the product is 'Tested for Purity and Potency' without providing any further information. All of this is completely in compliance with dietary supplement labeling requirements in the U.S., and these are probably just as good as any other. I personally prefer made in USA, but the raw material in many 'made in USA' supplements is likely imported as well. Bottom line is these are roughly 5 cents a tablet, for way more Chromium , 1000mcg , than any human might need, and it is a 6 month supply.

This bottle of chromium picolinate comes with a six month supply. According to the directions, you only need one per day. That is a generous amount of product at a very reasonable price. I ordered this supplement to help reduce hunger cravings so I won’t eat when I’m bored. Chromium picolinate is supposed to help reduce hunger cravings and lower blood sugar. It can also contribute to losing weight. I’m hoping to see some results after taking this product for a few weeks. The bottle came safety sealed, and there was also a freshness seal underneath the cap. The pills are small, like the size of a baby aspirin, so they’re very easy to swallow. There’s no odor, taste, or aftertaste.

So far so good, I've been taking these chromium supplements and have had no ill effects or issues. If you know about chromium it claims to promote fat burning and increase metabolism while helping regulate insulin. I can't tell you if it actually does because these aren't FDA approved so all of these claims might just be hot air. I can tell you they are easy to swallow, it does have a slight chemical after taste but just wash it down with any liquid and you'll be fine. They are small tablets so you shouldn't have any issues swallowing them. What I have tried so far seems to be pretty good so if you are looking for a refill on your chromium supplements then give these a shot. So far I have to rate them 5 stars.

Maybe this product works for others, but for me, it has been 30 days and I've yet to see any noticeable difference in weight loss. It was worth a try but just wasn't for me.
