This blade says to use it no faster than 1800 RPM, my Porter Cable saw is 3800 RPM. So does everybody ignore that detail?

NO! Do not ignore that detail! If blade lifespan is important to you then use the 1300 RPM saw that it is designed for. They will last many months and I make thousands of cuts into multiple pieces at a time. If you use the ordinary chop saws intended for high RPM abrasive discs you can count the number of days it will last on your fingers...kind of a shame when they are $125 each and a disc is $10.

Can i use this on a dewalt chop saw that comes with a fiber disk ???? size and rpms match ??????

What is the maximum thickness of iron rod this will cut? i need to cut 1" square rod.

It will cut 1 inch square solid Rod no problem. The secret to success with this blade is to feed it very very gently especially at the start of the cut. Then gentle pressure and it will cut the metal perfectly.

does this blade have a diamond knockout?

No. The DWA7747 does not have a diamond knockout.
