It’s not Xmas yet but it’s getting to feel a lot like etc., so I could not resist setting them up over the back of our settee. The result? This is the best set of lights I have ever bought, and I thoroughly recommend them. There is a colour scheme to suit all tastes, from warm white onwards. I attach shots of what I think are the three main colour schemes. The transitions between them range from the gentle to the bright and blinking. The credit card size remote control is very clear and easy to use. It has a good range (but of course doesn’t work through hefty obstacles … like settees). There are 11 different light display variations, each with a numbered button. The dimmer option gives further flexibility. At present I need to use the provided clearly written manual to remember what displays the numbers represent, but don’t think I will need it for long. One helpful aspect is that the lights remember your favourite setting after they are switched off. It certainly beats looking for a control block on the floor and randomly pressing a button! The timer is very useful and has 3 settings, 3hours, 6 hours and 6639 hours. The last setting puts the lights on for 6 hours, off for 6 hours, on for 3 hours and off again for 9 hours. I think this setting, after a bit of trial and error coordination with the hours of going to bed and rising, will be very useful once we get the lights off the settee and onto the tree. If need be the timer setting can be switched off with a button press. The plug is splash proof (IP45), and the light string has a fairly good waterproof rating of IP65, but I’ve not had time to test these outside yet. The lights come in a sturdy box, but I suggest that when the festivities are over, you wrap them around the box, rather than stuffing them into it, thereby avoiding the pre Xmas untangling epic. All in all a versatile and solid piece of kit, and great value.

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of these lights. They look very durable and well-made, suggesting they'll easily withstand outdoor weather and last for many festive seasons. The functionality is excellent. I love that you can adjust through different modes to create the perfect atmosphere, and the dimmable feature is a massive bonus for fine-tuning the brightness. These are truly excellent for Christmas and instantly added a beautiful, warm glow to my home. Highly recommend them for any outdoor festive decorating!

Very pretty icicle lights for outdoor use

Very good icicle lights only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars is that when using the remote you literally have to be stood at the mains plug to make it get a signal. Apart from that they look great hope they last.

Absolutely gorgeous lights. Easy to put up. Good value for money compared to lots of others we looked at.

This set of lights is amazing, I’ve been putting this type of light up for years but recently moved so needed a longer set. No more constant pressing the mode button to get the right effect. Once set they stay in that mode. The remote is even better and the timer mode so helpful. Set mine at 6 hours, with one press of the 6H button, at 4pm and that’s it. Every day at 4pm they switch on and at 10pm they go off. Brilliant product and look amazing.

The lights worked for 48 hours but the remote control never worked. Day 3 the lights had a mind of their own between not working then suddenly working but choosing itself what pattern it did! The button on the plug made no difference either. Bloody useless!

TBH probably too many lights, I've tripled them up and It's made quite a nice thick display as shown in the pics but that's still 3/4 of the lights. They come "bundled" into four and after setting up three bundles I just chucked the last on the roof still tied up. Next year I'll pace them out on the ground rather than up the ladder. Make it even better. The remote works well line of sight, the different patterns are ok, the warm light is pretty, We went for the multi colour to be different The timer works but we have them on smart plugs. Got them in the black Friday for a pittance really but even at the full price when compared to a garden center it's good value. They came quick too.
