ACCEPTABLE CONCESSION FOR CARNIVORE DIET
(I BEGAN CARNIVORE DIET 5/1/24 AT 190LBS MY KIDS WERE CALLING ME FAT! LOL! I AM 168LBS IN THE PIC 12 WEEKS LATER, YOU CAN DO IT GUYS/GIRLS! HANG TOUGH AND STAY NATURAL. HORMONE THERAPY/STEROIDS HAVE SIDE EFFECTS, DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT, BEEN DOING THIS ON AND OFF SINCE 1980 AND I'VE SEEN A LOT OF PEOPLE GET HURT/SICK AND WORSE! JUST AIN'T WORTH IT! NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE ABLE TO "LEAN OUT" AGAIN AT 60YRS. CARNIVORE MADE IT HAPPEN! BE PATIENT! When I started the Carnivore diet I wanted to stick to the rules 100%, this product immediately violates them with the inclusion of Stevia and Monk Fruit extract. I have utilized other ketosis based diets in the past with excellent results and was excited to try Carnivore! My problem is that due to life's other responsibilities I was having a hard time meeting my protein/fat requirements. I work out 4X weekly primarily doing resistance training with occasional cardio. I decided that to keep my sanity I conceded that I would utilize this product for convenience sake even though it had the sweeteners. I love red meat, but honestly I have a difficult time sitting down and chewing it for 25-30min3x daily! (I also utilize eggs and other animal flesh). I am willing to suffer the tiny carbohydrate value this product has (2g) seeing that it will not kick me out of ketosis and ultimately for convenience sake! It is usually but not always my first and last meal of the day or makes a great "quickie" when unexpected life circumstances pop up and do not permit a "meal time".I blend it with water,1/2 teaspoon of Redmonds salt and 3-4ea. egg yolks to give it some "body" plus the additional fat content(it does not induce sugar cravings and holds me for 4+hrs no prob!). I find the taste, although not absolutely delicious, is very good and a welcomed reprieve from the monotony of my other meals (I'm a vanilla guy, chocolate products can be "iffy" for my stomach). I was apprehensive to add this at first but I am at peace with it now and I am positive it will not keep me from my goals of both the reduction of mild inflammation as well as bodyfat loss! This product has a SUPERB ingredient profile which includes alot of ingredients I honestly would not have purchased separately. I am 60yrs old and have trained(naturally) on and off for 45yrs and have seen and heard just about everything, I have confidence in this product and I am glad that I purchased it!!(*They sent me chocolate by mistake once, it's non-returnable so I used it. The taste was very good but I occasionally got mild upset stomach from it, not blaming the product because I think I have mild cocoa bean sensitivity, if you do well with chocolate products you should be fine!*)

good stuff
So I've tried a few of the animal based protein blends, and this one is my favorite. for me it just taste the best. but most importantly all the ingredients are good, no fake or weird stuff. but I was wondering why they put blood and bone in the mix. so I wrote the fittest and to my surprise they quickly worte back. here's what they said: As for the blood and bone... great question.Blood is one of the most potent sources of heme iron and peptides that support oxygen delivery, stamina, and endurance. It’s something our ancestors prized but modern diets totally left behind.Bone provides calcium, phosphorus, and other raw materials to keep your joints, bones, and connective tissue strong. It's a natural support for recovery and long-term performance. Both are rare to find in any supplement or protein powder... and that’s exactly why we included them.

Tastes Great as is
High quality protein powder made from animals rather than plants or whey. Perfect for those who are eating whole foods but want a meal on the go or a high protein snack. This is a protein powder that is meant to be mixed with milk only for the most part and still taste great. We mix one scoop with 8oz of half and half (no additives) or whole milk, and 1 cup of ice in a Nutribullet blender. It comes out little thicker than just milk but still able to suck through a regular size straw. It tastes great! For variety we will sometimes add a small banana and 1-2 Tbsp of natural peanut butter or even a little cocoa powder to change it up a little. This also makes it much thicker like a milk shake.DO NOT mix with berries or spinach. Trust me, it's not good that way. This is meant to be used as is for the most part.

Top-tier protein powder
First off, I am not probably not the ideal demographic to which this product is marketed (though it looks like the product page on Amazon has changed somewhat). I'm not a body-builder, I don't obsess about my gains, nor am I a dominant king of all animal life on Earth, and so forth. That being said, I appreciate the quality ingredients in this protein powder -- which is the main draw for me. I am boggled by plant-based food in general, so it's terrific to find a protein powder that is not only compromised of grassfed beef, but also includes some dessicated organ meat, butter, tallow, etc.I use this protein powder primarily to (modestly) supplement my breakfast with some additional calories and nice nutritional punch. It's a tasty complement to my coffee (particularly the chocolate version, which I have purchased multiple times). The most recent bag I receive tastes the same, but for whatever reason doesn't mix as well as it had in the past. So I'd advise using a blender, frother, immersion hand-mixer, or some similar implement to get it to dissolve/blend satisfactorily. In my opinion, the poor mixing (and concomitant clumping) is the only drawback to this product. It'd also be nice if it was cheaper -- but good things don't always come cheap.Numerous reviews complain about the taste of this beef protein powder, but from the first moment I tried this I thought it was delicious. I've only used a few protein powders besides this one, and I typically find them to taste quite generic or downright "artificial", if you get what I mean. To provide a bit of "context" to my palate, I enjoy some organ meat, especially heart -- but I'm not the biggest fan of liver's strong "minerally" flavor. If you're a proud meat-eater looking for a great protein powder, give The Whole Feast a shot. You can do like I did and wait for a flash sale, if you're on the fence about it. For my money, one would be hard-pressed to find a better quality product that tastes this good and isn't tainted by BS ingredients/fillers. Animal-based is the way to go!
