These are really great quality microphones. The different capsules allow you to compromise between directionality and audio quality. We use these as room microphones in the church to pick up the people singing as well as the piano and those signals are fed through to the live stream. We are using the cardioid pattern, and the sound quality is really good. The Omni was also really good, but picked up too much of the surrounding room that we didn't want including in the feed. The hypercardoid was a little too narrow and sounded a little tinny, plus the volume was much lower . But having the options was really good to allow us to fine tune our setup, and the quality of the audio is really good. Highly recommend.

The cardioid capsules have a good balanced sound and are a big improvement over the Behringer C-2 mics, with better bottom end and less of a peak in the high end. Noise was not an issue so maybe they outperform their spec. Worth the extra cost over the C-2s even if you don't use the omni or the hyper capsules. Mine were a reasonably well matched pair. Maybe I got lucky but I bought a "mint" used pair that actually was "mint" condition for just a little more than the regular C-2 price.

I bought these mics to record a marching band (outside). Put 2 dead cats on them and mounted them on the 35 yard lines, and was very surprised at the performance. Good range and clear recording. Originally I had some interference on one of the mics but it was easily rectified. For the money, these are terrific to use if you occasionally need small condenser mics. Buy with confidence.

These are so useful as a utility recording tool for several reasons: 1: they are inexpensive, so almost anyone can afford them. 2. The sound quality is very good. 3. you get 3 capsules for Omni, cardioid and hyper-cardioid. 4. You get two of them: so you can do all the stereo field spacial treatments. These sound satisfyingly natural overall. They showed a useably neutral and accurate frequency response for a variety of percussion and foley effects, and acoustic stringed instruments like guitar and mandolin. They sound like the instrument. Having the various capsules allows for different isolation and sound focus. They do not render transients to perfection like great pro mics: KM84s, Gefell M300s or SE8s or the like: so if you record symphony orchestras or need critically well balanced stereo fields: these don't stand up so well in comparison: But if you don't have a pair of small diaphragm condensers: this is a great place to start, you'll get fine recordings and won't be afraid to stick them where expensive mics are afraid to go.

Trying to mic a clarinet for a live band (drums, bass, guitars... that kind of band) performance without spending big money has been a challenge. This is the third mic setup I've tried and I think it's the final! I've used these just once so far for that purpose (super cardioid), and they performed marvelously. I attached a couple of extension mic holders to my vocal mic stand, positioned one up high and one down low, plugged into a mixer and voila, no more missing notes or feedback, and just one DI for the venue to deal with. I didn't even have to position them super close, which let me move a bit. Also used a single cardioid to lightly amplify a guitar for a live stream and it sounded better than any other mic in my house. Granted they're all vocal mics and this is my first experience with cardioid, but the sound was remarkably warm and rich. My only gripe is that the top of the case could use a thicker piece of foam. There's enough room for the mics to slip out of their slot a little, but that's an easy and cheap enough fix and the case is otherwise very nice. I'm so glad I took the chance on these when I could have easily spent 4 times more. Someday when I have a nicer clarinet and am making that big clarinet money I can upgrade.

These work really well. Excellent microphone for the price point from our perspective. We will see how they do long-term, but I could not recommend more highly if you need a condenser mic. I

Questa volta le cinque stelle sono piene e meritate. Sono un progettista acustico ed elettroacustico. Ho un laboratorio attrezzato per prove strumentali e certificazioni, collaudi e stress test. A questi microfoni mancano solo un attenuatore e un filtro roll off di de enfasi in gamma 0-75 Hz. Per il resto il pre ha una ampia gamma dinamica tanto da consigliare l'uso su un mixer dotato di PAD attenuatore su ingressi MIC, se il mixer ha un filtro roll-off è obbligo usarlo, i microfoni hanno una risposta molto lineare in gamma 1000-10.000 Hz ma guadagnano molto in gamma 40-150 e 300-500 HZ, con un effetto prossimità piuttosto evidente nel caso si provi a cantarci anche con filtro antivento in dotazione. Adatto quindi a riprese in campo distante, buona pasta sonora anche come Over Head su batterie o gruppi percussioni. Ottimo per sezioni archi e le capsule Omni direzionali hanno fornito un ottima pasta sonora con ripresa a microfoni distanziati da gruppo orchestrale da camera in cui solo il clavicembalo subisce una maschera in gamma medio alta. . Ripeto, mi fanno ridere le comparazioni su youtube tra questi microfoni e una coppia di Neumman 184 o SHOEPS MK Series, questi microfoni sono morfologicamente e tecnicamente tutt'altra cosa, ma assicuro il loro grande rapporto Qualità-Prezzo.Raccomando delle unità di phantom power esterne al mixer, la ragione è puramente tecnica e complessa, fidatevi.

More than happy. These compare well to my Rode NT5. They don't have quite the same "sparkle" but very usable and insanely good at this price with all of those capsules!

Utilisé par 2 ou 4 pour capter et amplifier les voix sur une scène de théâtre. Je suis particulièrement satisfait de la qualité du son obtenu.

Parfait, je les ai couplés avec un enregistreur ZOOMH4 et le son est vraiment top ! Très belle qualité et la malette est vraiment pratique
