A friend insited that her investment of two minutes a day has produced remarkable changes in her oral health. Alas, two minutes is the daily "goal" of these electric toothbrushes and it works. Ironically, the bristles on these "standard" refills seem to be more effective than specialized ones but they are all outstanding and last for months rather than weeks. They are easily installed, just as the brush is easy to use and far more effective than earlier generations of electric toothbrushes just as the discreet "landing" pad takes up scant space on the counter.

These Oral-B iO Series Ultimate Clean Electric Toothbrush Replacement Brush Heads are definitely a bit on the expensive side, but they are the genuine, original Oral-B replacement heads. They fit perfectly and maintain the high cleaning performance of the iO toothbrush. If you want to keep your iO performing at its best, these are the ones to get.

This review is for (1) 2-Pack Oral B Ultimate Clean heads from A 2 Z STORE at $20:Packaging and brush heads appear genuine Oral-B in all regards. Packaging seems new and fresh, no signs of aging or abuse. And the price is less than retail.I ordered generic replacement heads on my Amazon Vine product testing account but did not even try them. They do not match the iO Oral-B proprietary fitting which is universal to all iO toothbrushes. iO uses a linear magnetic drive that employs a piston in the handle that is driven by a motor to move in a linear direction up and down. The iO head converts that motion into an oscillating motion at the bristles. The connection between the head and the piston in the handle is by a magnet atop the piston and a plate in the head. It is a smooth, even and gentle contact that somehow also produces "micro-vibrations".The generic replacement heads have a spring-loaded plunger that takes the linear motion of the piston and converts it to oscillating motion at the bristles. The connection is therefore a single point of impact against the strength of the spring which, IMO, could compromise the motor and drive mechanism in the handle.iO toothbrushes cost from $60 to $360. Is it worth the risk to use a cheaper, truly non-compatible replacement head when the cost of genuine Oral-B iO heads is about $.15 per brushing (based on 60 brushings at $10 per head)? You be the judge.

Half of the package it comes in is empty space. Which I find wasteful and odd. The brush heads are only a duo at about $10 for each which is expensive but it works for my io toothbrush.

These Oral-B iO Series replacement brush heads work perfectly with my Oral-B electric toothbrush. These Oral-B iO Ultimate Clean brush heads are fantastic! I can absolutely tell the difference when I don’t use them—whenever I’m on vacation without it, my teeth feel noticeably less clean.The bristles do a great job of thoroughly cleaning while still being gentle on my gums. One tip: make sure to rinse it thoroughly after each use to avoid any mold buildup. Other than that, they’re perfect and worth every penny for the clean, fresh feeling they provide. Highly recommend!
