The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption [Blu-ray]

It’s the second cash grab for a spin-off movie. It was a decent watch, especially if you’re trying to do all the Mummy movies.

Great Movie! One of the best movies in the Scorpion King franchise. The Ron P. is fantastic and adds a lot of flare to the movie. This movie could not be better and the characters really play their roles quite well. Several years ago, the actors were B rated actors. Now, they are active members in their own franchises like Guardians of the Galaxy. But this movie and enjoy the Action!

When Victor Webster did Mathayus in this 3rd Sequel, he was big, tall and stronger than the second one. I was impressed how good this was. The storyline and the acting wasn't too bad. There were some funny parts. At least it had Billy Zane, Ron Perlman, and Dave Bautista. Billy Zane has done many bad guy moments in his films like "Tales From The Crypt: Demon Kinght & "Titanic". Ron Perlman did a marvelous job as King. Dave Bautista did pretty good too. I recommend it if you like The Scorpion King series.

I bought this as a gift for my partner, and was very pleased. Not only is the movie great, but I got it at an unbelievable price. This will be a great birthday gift, and will complete the collection.The movie itself is great. Alot of action, special effects, and fun, though not as good as the first, this is still a good movie with a price you can't pass up.

The sequels have gone down in budget, but this time there are many recognizable actors. They are good, but story is missing heart. This should have technically been Scorpion King 2 and it would have been a decent follow up if the prequel wasn't so bad. It doesn't really get into why Mathyus looses his kingdom or his wife. That should have been explained better and right up front. However, this film captures what the last film didn't, the action pacing. The editing of the action scenes was so bad though... so hard to see anything.What I can't stand are the girl on girl fight scenes they keep using in these movies. If these are truly warriors it shouldn't be a girl fight. They did this in the last movie as well and I guess they are just paying homage to the girl on girl fight in the Mummy 2. It worked then because it was a display sport for the Pharaoh, but seeing it in every movie as a "real fight" feels like a fetish.

Just saying, if you like this type of movie, you will like it. Billy Zane as the bad leader taking over all, with a good looking hair piece. Ron Perlman as the kind of good king doing what you'd expect, trying to take over all since his brother and an ally are all killed. The only problem, the Rock isn't in it.
