Works as expected, good product.
These are good filters and sleeves, I have two of the filters. They need to be cleaned out about once a week.

Solid replacement filters for my absolute favorite piece of equipment. Polishing filters are a god-send when my Engineer Gobies get to digging. The small filter takes care of the dust storm in just a few hours!

I love these filters! They keep water crystal clear and last a long time!

Deforms, melts when soaked in bleach water for more than an hour or so
Performs well, do not clean with bleach. It causes the rubber to become melty and messy!

Very effective, expensive
While I love this filter and this particular micron sleeve, these are single use and obscenely expensive to use on a regular basis. It's a love/hate relationship. This filter works exceptionally well. But the micron sleeve is dead after one day. It's meant to work as a polishing sleeve, and it even mentions on the packaging that the sleeve will be dead after a single use. I've had some luck spraying it down with a kitchen sink sprayer, but I've found that the material breaks down and really can only be rinsed once before the integrity fails. I wish there was a way to replace the sleeve material. Or that you could buy bulk. It's a bummer that it only lasts a day, is single use, and it's expensive. I generally only run the micron sleeve once a week. I also wish the ends of the sleeve were recyclable. Considering it's a single use sleeve, it seems like a no brainer to at least make it recyclable. But alas, it works better than any other polishing filter/media I've found.

Great price - highly effective item.
Great price for this item and quick shipping. I bought these to have a few extras on hand. They are extremely handy at polishing my tank water after a cleaning. I use them for 24 hours and then remove the Magnum filters from the tank until the next time.
