Don't buy it.
I backed this product on Kickstarter and had to wait for about 2 years to get it. When it finally arrived, I found out that it is basically a headband with tiny, horrible speakers at each tip. The low-fi, low volume audio one hears is basically from those tiny speakers and barely no bone conduction takes place. Even at low volumes, the leakage is terrible - people around you can hear what the speakers are playing. The band is heavy and ill fitting, which makes it impossible to use it while doing any sports, for example. In fact, I have to reposition it in my head all the time - it is uncomfortable and falls down frequently. In short, it is an expensive, overhyped, useless piece of junk. Studio Banana should be ashamed to have ever market this product the way they did. They lied and should be refunding every person who has been cheated into buying this horrible product.

I was given this as a gift earlier this year ...
I was given this as a gift earlier this year, so I am not judging the price. I wear them while walking outdoors and find the weight to be OK for about an hour; longer if I have my hair pulled back into a ponytail to catch some of the weight. Because they are not -in-the-ear phones, the sound is tinny; however, I can still hold a conversation & hear traffic. If I could change anything, I'd make them lighter and greatly improve the sound quality. I'd also question Amazon on why they've flipped my image upside down...?

Does not work as advertised
They ARE utilizing conduction technology but is not specific to bone conduction. You can put this thing up against your knee, a table etc. and you will hear it better than the way the model shows wearing it. Might not be totally their fault as the tech isn’t very widely developed yet but that’s not my main complaint. They promised a product that would make for an experience where you were the only person hearing the sound, but you were able to be into your surroundings as well. This is NOT true, the sound leakage/quality is comparable to those horrible little speakers on the cheap flip phones of the 2000’s.Through their crowdfunding campaigns they gradually shifted away from the promise of no sound leakage to “a small amount at high volumes” after saying they already had a working prototype and the $ from all their supporters.Another large issue people are finding with them is they did not respond very well to the questions/criticism received. They played it all off as the backers were expecting the wrong thing from the get go (which is not true, dismissive and highly offensive) and basically told everyone to eat it.The deception about the performance of the product makes this not worth your time or your money, look elsewhere.

Worst product even
Worst product even! Don't waste your time or money buying this piece of s***t. Really. One of the worst products I have ever bought, and without the possibility to ask for a refund! Don't make the same mistake!

Worst headphone ever
Batband is simply the worst audio accessory you can buy. I was a kickstarter backer and received mine today...It has a poor quality, a bad sound leakage (and, honestly, i think that using it as a neck phone or "poor sound pill" is actually better than using it the way it was supposed to be. It was the worst gadget i ever bought, and i am seriously giving up of bone conduction headphones 'cause of that experience.
