I really really like it and now will always keep it at home. This peel not as potent as salon peels but it is not expected to be, right? As a home peel it does great job. Skin looks fresher, brighter and feels rejuvenated. If you think if you can replace your peeling at a salon with this I would say that you can - partially. If using this you will need less professional peelings if you feel it is nessesity for you. I use this peel only, I don't feel my skin needs more than this, but if you got used to heavy duty peelings you might want to visit beaty salon occasionally.

Great product, but horrible containers. Must have changed bottles because initial order bottle opened and spilt all over box, Amazon kindly replaced, but it also opened and spilt out completely. I guess I will be changing skin care products, even if I order though the website it happens. 2 bottle oil at 50 dollars a bottle and 2 bottles of lotion at 75 dollars a bottle. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

My skin is fair, combination, sensitive and acne-prone (I'm in my 30's). Though I get facials every 5-6 weeks, I often find that my skin starts getting dull 4 weeks after my facial. In reality, one should get a facial at least every 4 weeks, but that gets expensive. For the past year, I have been trying peels to find the right one producing similar results I receive from a facial (a tall order, I know). Peels I tried either irritated my skin, dried it out, broke me out, etc. After discovering Suki's peel, I did some research and decided to pull the trigger. The product might tingle as you apply it to the skin. The amount of tingle you feel will be a function of your skin's overall sensitivity, combined with your cleansing routine prior to application of the peel. For the first time, I suggest using a gentle cleanser an absolutely NO facial scrubs prior to applying the peel. Remember, this is a peel, not a mask! I read reviews of people complaining they could not tolerate sleeping for 8+ hours. Its instructions clearly state to leave it on up to 20 minutes, depending on sensitivity, so they slept in the peel at their own risk as far as I am concerned. The peel itself is very concentrated, meaning a little goes a long way, which somewhat justifies the expense. It has a distinct it had a sour fruit-like scent, but the nice thing is that it did not smell medicinal. This did not bother me and after the peel is applied, I did not even notice. So, this peel has delivered the best results for my skin. My skin is very soft and "refreshed" after using, which I love. Another benefit is that my foundation goes on very smooth (I use mineral foundation). Would I skip my regular facials? I'm not sure, as I do get hormonal breakouts along my jawline that are cystic. The Suki peel helps to reduce their inflammation, but, I have found the glycolic treatment I get during my facial gets rid of my cystic acne much quicker. ****Update 10/16/12**** So, I decided to try sleeping in this product and did so every 3 days for a few months. At first, my skin looked awesome! As time went on, I noticed my skin gradually getting red and I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on and never thought to blame it on my misuse of the peel since my skin had looked so good from using it. One day I was on Suki's FB page and saw someone ask about sleeping in this peel. The site owner said that is not a good idea because ingredients peeling your skin are fairly potent and your skin needs time to recover, which is why they suggest following the instructions. After reading that I immediately stopped sleeping in it and have not used the product in a few months, to let my skin recover. Over time, I have noticed my skin looking better, thankfully. In sum, this is a product that you really need to be careful with. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and you will get a nice result. As for my facials, I have stopped getting them since February 2012 to save money. my skin does not look too bad and it is worth noting I have started using Cor Silver Soap, Suki's Balancing toner and Suki's purifying serum. ****Update 10/11/13**** Not really much more to add to this review except that I still use this product with positive results. It might be worth noting that I switched to using The Body Shop's Tea tree clearing cleanser and use their tea trea oil in place of Cor Silver Soap and Suki's purifying cream. Switching products hasn't changed the performance of the peel. ****Update 04/24/14**** Still using it! Also, it's worth following Suki's FaceBook page. There are times when they have BOGO sales, which are great times to stock up on their products.

I noticed some of the reviews were talking about “peeling” or “peels”, which is most likely about another Suki product. I just wanted to make it clear I am reviewing the Suki era facial oil. I did a little more research and realized that this line, Suki Era, is a line they created for pre-menopause and menopausal women. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a skincare company come out with this type of product! Medicine, yes, but not skincare - wow. While I personally am not yet in that demographic, I still used this product and gave it a try. I LOVED this face oil. Like any oils, it will feel oilier than using a face cream, but their oily feeling is not heavy and feels very nice and light. I didn’t feel like my skin was uncomfortable, greasy, or sticky. This oil feels very smooth and just made my skin feel nice and hydrated. The scent of this product is wonderful - very light and a very nice smell. I loved the smell of it and applied a little more than I needed just to get a whiff of the scent. I can’t explain what it smells like but it isn’t your typical scented oil smell you would come to expect. This product has Bakuchiol (retinol alternative), which I am seeing used in many skincare products these days. Although it is what they call a retinol alternative, does not irritate my skin. This oil (and this brand in general) uses great ingredients, very clean, good stuff! Again, as I mentioned previously, this line is made for pre-menopause and menopausal women but honestly anyone can use this. If your skin is on the drier side, definitely give this a try. This is yet another Suki product I love.

I have been trying a lot of different brands of face oils on my dry and aging skin. This Sukiera Face Oil has become one of my favorites. It is deeply moisturizing and smells wonderful. The scent is from natural essential oils and is and a beautiful balance of earthy, floral, herbal, and citrus tones. The essential oils are: lemon, coriander, clove, patchouli, palmarosa, cardamom, basil, magnolia, and galbanum. The patchouli is very subtle, so don’t worry if you’re not a patchouli fan. It is well balanced with the other essential oils. I love how this feels on my skin. I massage it in gently after washing my face, neck, and chest. I use in in both the morning and evening time. I love to spray a little neroli or rose water on my face after the massage. It leaves my face smooth and silky. It feels a little oily at first, but after a few minutes that dissipates. This face oil is very high quality oils and no funky additives. It smells very fresh and there are no signs of rancidity as I have seen in some of the other face oils products I’ve tried. I am also glad to see the squalene is “vegan”. Normally squalene is made from shark liver which I completely avoid. They don’t say what the source of their vegan squalene is, so I am assuming it is from olives. That’s the only thing I wish they would have included on the packaging. This is definitely a 5-star face oil. I love, love, love it!!!

I'd tried the Suki cleansing oil and loved it, so I was pretty sure I'd like their facial oil as well. I love this stuff. Like their cleansing oil, this oil smells absolutely fantastic. It feels wonderful on my skin too. I have mature skin, post menopausal. This stuff was made for me and it shows. Since it is an oil, it does take a while for it to fully absorb so I spend a little extra time massaging it in which feels so nice. It helps hydrate my old lady skin and gets rid of the crepey looking bits on my neck. It's full of good for your skin stuff as well: •Antioxidant: Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Punica Granatum Seed Oil, Squalene, Bakuchiol, Tocopherol, Salicornia Herbacea Extract •Cell-communicating ingredient: Bakuchiol •Skin brightening: Salicornia Herbacea Extract •Skin-identical ingredient: Squalane, Squalene •Antimicrobial/antibacterial: Bakuchiol •Emollient: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Dicaprylyl Ether, Squalane, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Heptyl Undecylenate, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Punica Granatum Seed Oil, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Caprylic/​Capric Triglyceride, Squalene, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil •Moisturizer/humectant: Salicornia Herbacea Extract and it's free from coconut oil which is found in so many products these days and makes me break out. If you have mature skin, this is the stuff.

i really like jojoba oil which is a main ingredient in this product and i had a good experience with one of their creams, so i jumped on the chance to try this oil and i gotta say, it’s a pretty decent oil. it’s not super light or too heavy, pretty middle of the road. it’s been pretty warm this summer so i’ve been diluting it with mist or a gel serum to not be too heavy when the temps get high and it hasn’t caused me any break outs. when it’s colder i’ll probably use this more like a serum with a heavier cream afterwards. it isn’t irritating to my slightly sensitive skin either. if you’re a fan of using oils (especially jojoba) like i am i think you’ll like this one because i definitely do. i think it’s better than single ingredient oils and the absorption is pretty good if you get the right amount and don’t overdo it. i think $40 isn’t too bad for a decent oil and they seem to have sales occasionally (20% off today), so i would recommend trying is this sounds like a good product for your skin. if you need something heavier i recommend trying their cream too.
