Professional Pain Relief Gel, Cooling Menthol, 4 FL OZ (3 pack)

This stuff is amazing. No smell. It goes on easy. One of my favorite new products of all time. This gel really eases the pain and soreness.

My husband tried this item for his neck and shoulder pain. He said it worked good and relieved the pain. This is only for temporary relief use.

I was in the hospital and hurt my ankle and my shoulder,knee. I was in horrible pain and they had tried shots,nothing..they tried patches they felt would work..but no..I was getting physical therapy and he said just a minute. He went and got this from his office and rubbed it on real good,and I was soo much better..as soon as I was being released I bought my own,andnI tell you,rub it in deeply as you can,and this works!! It's non greasy!! And ya,you can take it with to have on hand !!

I have a connective tissue disorder that causes widespread chronic pain, the worst of which is in my neck and shoulder. My physical therapist has put Biofreeze on that area before, and it was pretty helpful, so I decided to purchase some for myself. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I don't really mind the menthol scent. It's strong but doesn't smell as bad as BenGay or similar products. The gel spreads easily over my skin. It dries quickly, so I don't have to worry too much about getting it all over my clothes or bedding. I have noticed that it's hard to wash all of the gel off my hands after applying it. This has led to a few uncomfortable instances of getting it around my eyes, so I have to be really careful with that. The pain relief is pretty good while it lasts. I usually apply the Biofreeze right after I take an NSAID and/or a muscle relaxer. That way, I'm able to get some instant relief from the Biofreeze while the medication kicks in. The one thing I don't like is that the Biofreeze really doesn't last as long as I'd hoped. The effect starts to fade after about 10-15 minutes, and I find myself reapplying it within an hour. That's a huge drawback since this stuff is pretty expensive compared to other OTC topical products. I haven't used the regular Biofreeze, so I can't say whether the "professional" version really lasts any longer. Overall I'd say Biofreeze is worth trying if you are dealing with muscle or joint pain, but don't expect it to be a miracle product.

Love Biofreeze. It works great on my muscles that ache and also helps with my neuropathy. The professional version works great for my needs. The gel is very effective and long lasting. I recommend Biofreeze.

I have tried many many kinds of cream before and not too succesfull. A friend recommended Biofreeze and it sure works for me. A bit expensive but it is worth every penny. It last a long time a little goes a long way it is easy to apply not greasy at all. I highly recommend this product.

We usually used tiger balm but this was recently recommended by my partners physiotherapist for his lower back pain so we tried it. The sensation is like a cool warmth and feels nice on aches. While I’m not sure how effective it would be on acute pain (I haven’t experienced that to test it) I can say it does a good job of easing stiffness in muscles or your back. I had a stiff back for a couple days after a day of carrying heavy things and I was happy to have this for relief. I also like that it’s a gel type consistency and rubs in very easily with no greasy residue to get on clothes. The smell is very “medical” like rubbing alcohol which isn’t terrible and goes away pretty quickly after you’ve rubbed it in.

Excellent product

While I can’t say that this gel reduces the pain in my lower back, it definitely changes my perception of it, which is welcomed! The cooling/pleasant heat feeling it produces is a really nice break and distraction from the pain itself. I like that you don’t have to massage it in, And how a small amount goes along way. The smell is strong initially but doesn’t linger excessively and doesn’t stay strong smelling on clothes. The smell does stay on hands for a while, even after washing them, so I keep a Disposable latex glove to apply the gel, then simply rinse it off and save it for the next application. A great product and happy it’s sold here now!
