Fuzzy Logic Get Fuzzy 2 (Volume 2)

Berke Breathed and Bill Watterson may not be around anymore, but not to worry, we have Darby Conley. If you're into dogs, cats, rugby, Harry Potter, or puns and wordplay, this book is for you. Even the Introduction is worth the price alone. Conley is a breath of fresh air on the comic strip scene, and the only artist/writer around who makes me laugh out loud at his strips.If you're unfortunate enough to live in a city which does not carry the daily antics of Satchel and Bucky in its paper, all the more reason to get this and see what you're missing.

Conley's latest offering presents another look at about a year's worth of strips. If you aren't familiar with the strip, it chronicles the life of Rob Wilco, his dog-with-a-heart-of-gold-and-mind-of-clay Satchel, and his self-centered, mostly evil and quite pointy cat, Bucky B. Katt. Conley's writing style is irreverent and packs its biggest punches in its nuances. RW:"You're delusional, you know that?" BK:"Well, I'm a little vague on your 'Nerd Terminology', but if 'Delusional' means 'Gorgeous,' then YES. Yes I did know that."His art is unbelievably good... he explores his world of tuna obsessions, catnip highs and broken furnishings with 3d hand-rendering and glorious detail....

What is so amazing to me is that Get Fuzzy has from the very beginning been extremely funny and the characters fully conceived. The level of excellence and humor is always in place. One can't go wrong getting a Fuzzy book. A great present for the entire household and important for those who collect Get Fuzzy and want to be able to return to Fuzzy world just by opening a book.

Truly, I look forward to reading "Get Fuzzy" every morning as the highlight of my day. The first collection was great, but this one is even better, if only because it's more "Get Fuzzy"!If you are an animal lover who enjoys comics with attitude, try "Get Fuzzy" and get hooked. My only disappointment was that I think some of the story lines included (like the sock puppet incident) were not complete. But otherwise, a treasure I'll read again and again whenever I need a pick-me-up!

The collection of strips is consistently funny and enjoyable.Book arrived in stated condition, on time.

If you love cats (and who doesn't) the Get Fuzzy collections are funny and worth the read!!

Books like this Fuzzy Logic Get Fuzzy 2 are valuable because they show the development of the characters Satchel, Bucky, and Rob Wilco, too. It's a study of creativity, which is fun, outside of the meanings of the cartoons themselves.

Got what I ordered in good condition

In generale, abbastanza noiosetto. Se la prima raccolta (The Dog Is Not a Toy: House Rule #4) contenteva molte vignette decisamente splendide, questa raccolta scende molto in qualità - le storie veramente belle sono decisamente poche, quelle che lasciano indifferente la maggior parte. In generale deludente.

I'm afraid Get Fuzzy has now become something of a twisted obsession in our house. Can't get enough of those pricelessly observed interactions. Sheer genius!
