I hesitated for a long time to buy this POS touch screen because I saw the reviews. I was a little worried about the quality of the product at first, but after receiving the goods, I found that my worries were unnecessary. The product I received was not the same as the one in the review. I received a full flat screen instead of the bezels in the review, and the buttons are located on the back instead of the front of the machine. I suspect that what he received was not a MUNBYN product. However, this POS monitor is top-notch both in appearance and touch sensitivity. I will recommend it to my friends!

I’ve been using the MUNBYN 17-inch POS touch screen monitor for a few weeks now, and while it does the job, there are a few things that keep me from giving it a higher rating. On the plus side, the monitor is impressively stable. The heavy-duty metal base really does help avoid wobbling when you’re tapping on the screen, which makes it more pleasant to use during busy work hours. I also appreciate the VESA mounting option and the security mounting holes—it’s clear they designed this with POS environments in mind. Compatibility is another strength. It worked fine with my Windows 10 setup, and the HDMI and VGA ports gave me flexibility in connecting it to different systems. That said, the extra steps needed to get it running on Windows 7 or XP—like contacting support for a firmware upgrade—might be a hassle for some users. The touch screen itself is fast and accurate, and I like that it supports multi-touch with up to 10 points. The display is decent, but not amazing. The 1280×1024 resolution feels a little dated in a world where higher resolutions are standard. It’s also smaller than I expected in person, even though it’s technically 17 inches. Durability-wise, I haven’t had any issues yet, and the water/dust resistance is a great feature, especially if you're using it in a restaurant or kitchen environment. It’s definitely built to last. What brings my rating down is that despite all the features, the overall experience feels just average. The display quality could be better, and the setup process—especially for older operating systems—isn’t as smooth as it should be. It’s a functional monitor, but at this price point, I expected a bit more polish. If you need a basic POS monitor with strong touch performance and don’t mind the average resolution or a bit of setup effort, this might still be a good fit. But for me, it lands squarely in the middle.

We are very pleased with the quality, ease of installation and service provided by this product. I would recommend over products costing twice as much.

When we turned it on it started shutting itself down. We got the blue screen of death. Past the return of window. Super disappointed.

Ordered two to replace our old 3M monitor. The flat glass screen is easy to keep clean, and doesn't the gaps to trap dust. After a few months of use they are still working nicely.

Solid, heavy monitor, that connected up with no issues, and has good picture quality. We are using these in a dirty, hot/cold, dusty environment, but have only had them in service for a few days so far. The only issue we have with these is that one of them developed a yellow vertical line (see pic) that was intermittent at first, then eventually did not go away. I tried to contact Munbyn directly and open a ticket and they responded and asked for pictures of the line (intermittent when I submitted the ticket) and once I provided a picture (within a few days) they never responded again over17 days. I tried to open a new ticket, tried adding onto the ticket, etc., but crickets from Munbyn. I assume their support ticket system is simply broken. Amazon came through and agreed to refund us despite being over the 30 day return date. Nevertheless, I replaced it with the same monitor (awaiting arrival) because reviews on similar monitors are worse, and I know the quality of this monitor's frame and stand are very robust.
