A great product!
If you are lactose intolerant, no matter how bad or mild, this stuff is a blessing! I have been using it for, well I guess a couple of years now. I was skeptical because the lactase pills never worked for me. Using this I have been able to add it to heavy cream to make whipped cream, cream cheese to make cheese cake, basically any ingredient that is not a full on solid, and it neutralizes the lactose in the product. I add what I deem is an appropriate amount of the powder to the product, stir or shake and put in the fridge. I usually give 3 days or more, shaking/stirring at least once a day. I have told several other people about it and everyone has had the same results that I have had.. This vendor gets the product to me on time and never an issue. I've been contemplating trying to make my own cheese using this, maybe someday I'll give it a try.

I've tried others but I always come back to the reliability of Nutracost
I prefer the Quality of lactase powder over capsules or tablets, just need to take the time to mix it in milk or Greek yogurt, If you want it to work faster, let it sit on counter, warmth wakes up the enzymes for ease of digestion, then refrigerate, I also shake before use. If I'm having something cheesy, I will mix the recommended two scoops in a big coffee, not like I need to cover up the taste, it's neutral. Then I can enjoy lasagna, pizza, mulitas, ect...key is to get them in your gut first, then consume. I don't get any bloating, gas or discomfort. I think the pills are just hit and miss, and I don't like to chance a miss.

Doesn't work.
Doesn't work. Tried 2 scoops (10000 fcc) equivalent to a lactase pill, ended up diarrhea within half an hour. Doubled the dose to 20000 fcc and same out come. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and upped the dose to 30000 fcc with 3 day wait time and decidedly said it doesnt work. Obviously not lactase enzyme, probably all maltodextrin.

Necessary
A necessity for lactose-intolerant people who like dairy products. The bulk packaging is so much less expensive than capsules.

Works well but hard to mix in.
It works well but it is really hard to mix into the milk. I have had the most luck mixing a scoop with an equal amount of milk in a small bowl then once they have combined adding that back into the milk jug. It won't dissolve by just adding a scoop into the jug and shaking it, instead it is a bit like dealing with corn starch.

Fear lactose no more!
This product has really been amazing for mitigating my lactose intolerance symptoms. Being able to premix into foods or just add as needed on the spot is a huge benefit that products in a pill or chewable form are severely lacking. This is the best solution I’ve found and the math says it’s also the most economical. Perfect.

Doesn’t work so good pretreating gallon of milk
Tried this powder as an alternative to the liquid lactase for pre-treating a gallon of milk...didn’t work out so good. The powder doesn’t readily mix with the milk so I had to mix it with a small amount of the milk then pour it into the gallon...still had small chunks in it. Also, after a few days it had a weird motor oil kind of aftertaste. Never actually tasted motor oil, but it tasted like motor oil smells. I ended up adding more powder because it wasn’t converting the lactose very well. It took a lot of powder and a long time, so it didn’t go so well trying to pre-treat the milk. I did find out that if I drank the powder mixed with a glass of water before consuming untreated milk products it worked great, just like the pills only better.

This is a huge help for me! Many reviewers either don't read directions or own a blender?
Love how easy this is t use. I make a lot of milk protein shakes and I am massively lactose intolerant. I use a double dose because I hate the bathroom trips....a little insurance is nice! It blends perfectly with cows milk but I prefer it with goat milk as it has less lactose to begin with. One noticeable side effect is that when lactase converts lactose in to other sugars (Glucose and Galactose) the milk will often be sweeter tasting to me. It is actually science, but surprised nobody mentions it. Also it does not make anything taste like the smell of motor oil like one reviewer alleges...not does it contain Bromalain or any other enzymes besides lactase. Yes there is a filler but that is minimal and is added to make dosing easy to calculate (not a conspiracy). As for folks that say it doesn't work...I don't think they have problems with just lactose...it could be the A1 Casein protein found in most grocery stores commercial dairy sources..try A2 milk or even better.. goat milk (less lactose and is A2 protein) A2 Casein protein is WAYYYYYYY easier to digest and also doesn't irritate your gut lining like A1 Casein does. Try adding the correct amount of powder to A2 milk and it is smooth, sweet, sailing! I love Nutricost. The only thing I do not like? The paper and glue cover to the jars they use are too hard to open...literally every Nutricost product seems to have them..but you only remove them once.

Perfect
Works flawlessly, cheaper to make lactose-free milk with this powder than to buy it from a store.
