I love Shiva sticks. They are messy and wonderful and blend and I can keep adding color and shading, etc. I use them on fabric. any fabric works but it must be heat set whether you wash it or not. Best for not washing, just adding beautiful color.

I'm lost for words, these oil paint sticks are fantastic, they are great to use and they could last for years. I use my fingers to apply, you don't need to worry about spelling or messy situations as you would with a can of paint. Every time I use them I get all excited 😁

This was a gift for my mother-in-law. She is very artistic, but I really did not think she would do much with them. She has not used these to paying the pieces of furniture. She blamed the oils and each piece is one of a kind and looks like it should be sold in a high dollar store. I am hoping that since the gift came from me, I may get a piece all for my own home!!

I learned how to use Shiva Paintstiks in an art class. We only spent a short time as an introduction to how they can be used. I was immediately impressed and knew that I would buy them for future artwork. I am a quilter and only work with 100% cotton fabric. I have gotten away from traditional patterns and started working on art quilts, but still those that can be made with paints and materials that can be washed and dried, sewn and used as quilts, or embellished as art pieces. I am still experimenting with these on my fabric. They work great with household items like dishmats and doilies to given patterns on the fabric. For people who are less innovative or creative the Rubbing Plates Set is perfect for using these oil paint sticks to create patterns on the fabric, wood, canvas or anything that you would use oil paints on. The difference for me is that once the fabric is left to dry for 24 hours, it is considered 'cured'. After that, the designs are permanent and can go into a washer and hung to dry, be ironed with a piece of deli paper or fabric over them and can contribute beautifully towards a quilt.

Lovely colors, arrived in perfect condition and a very nice size that will last a while. I use them with watercolor and acrylic artwork to add a colorful or muted sheen to my artwork. Easy to rub to a nice gloss or leave to highlight an area. Very happy I purchased these.

I take old furniture and turn it into fantasy art pieces. The Shiva sticks are so easy to use. They’re like crayons for adults! Love love love these! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I like the colors of them,but the wax covering is hard to peel off
