sturdy, great color, and not too heavy for the room
I wanted these to go above my 1 1/2 inch butcher block desk. I had purchased other floating shelves that were 2" thick and they dwarfed the desk. My boyfriend was able to install them in 1 try. I do get a slight downward pitch but it isn't impacting the decor I have atop them. I think if you were trying to set a marble on it it would be a problem, but I have picture frames, decor objects, and a vase and they are all perfectly fine and I don't even notice the pitch.

Stylish and Inexpensive Way to Add a Lovely Shelf
My wife gives me projects so Iโm always apprehensive when I see another box from Amazon. This one exceeded my expectations and was a fairly easy install. They look great and add a certain panache to our rooms. I love floating shelves so maybe Iโm biased?
