Size up from the Troxel measurement guide
I went to the Troxel site to determine the correct helmet size and ordered the Large. However, I don't think it takes into account the padding. I put it on and it felt tight across the sides of my head. (Took the padding out for a minute to see if I was correct and it was better, but of course, you need the padding). So I ordered the XL instead and it was MUCH more comfortable and sat much better on my head. The helmet itself is really, really nice. I got a lot of compliments from other riders. Beautiful design. I would recommend this product to others.

Nice helmet
Nice lightweight helmet. It's as comfortable as a helmet can be and you can't put a price tag of safety. Looks nice with good ventilation and has adjustable straps.

Just what I wanted
I've started riding Western after a lifetime of riding English and wanted a helmet that fit that style better than my traditional black ones. This is exactly what I wanted. Fits well and lightweight. Has a slightly larger brim which I like too. Can't comment to the durability, but if it's like Troxel's I've had in the past it should be fine.

Excellent
Beautiful and sturdy. The longer bill on the helm is great, it keeps more sun off of my face. I love the matte finish and design on the sides. It fits well and is easily adjustable. Love it!

I love this helmut -- it is comfortable and has a nice look. Today, I actually had my first fall from my horse and landed on my back and hit my head hard. The helmut did everything it was supposed to do and totally protected me, I highly recommend it!

Fits well/good price
This is a secondary helmet for guest riders and/or on gentle rides. Price was reasonable as wearing a helmet is a rule for anyone who rides my horses.
