This insulated door curtain is absolutely worth every penny. We frequently cook at home, resulting in tremendous amounts of steam going from our kitchen into our home through the kitchen doorway. This compounds with heat during the summer causing a mildew and mold growth issue. As an example, using a humidity meter, we would see humidity go from 45% to 80% after cooking for around 2 hours. To stop this humidity build-up, we needed a solution to keep the steam isolated in the kitchen, which is also not well insulated. I had installed regular curtains using a curtain rod this past summer, which helped slow but did not stop the humid air flow. After installing this door curtain, I cannot believe just how much air flow is blocked. It is just like a door. Now our cooking only increases humidity by maybe 5% to 8%, which is a huge improvement. The mildew smell that had built up is nearly gone and I couldn't be more grateful for the positive impact this product has had on our health. Also, now that it is winter, this door is pulling double duty, essentially keeping cold air that seeps into the kitchen mostly in the kitchen. My heating bill is looking better already! I highly recommend buying this product, you won't be disappointed if you install it properly. The beige color is reasonably attractive in appearance and the curtain is made of heavy, durable oxford material. The magnets are strong, and while a bit difficult to walk through if you are tall, the doorway closes right back up after you walk through it, restoring the seal. If you buy this product, make sure you measure it out so you give an extra inch around the doorway so the size you buy does not come up short. One note that may be useful, I did not use the provide velcro strips provided by the manufacturer. I did not want this to be a permanent install at first, so I used removable 3M velcro strips, which have worked out great so far. Easy installation took less than 15 minutes to fully setup.

We bought it for our first winter in our 5th wheel. It works so well and definitely makes a huge difference! Even when it’s shut and I’m opening the actual door from the outside, if you’re inside it muffles the sound way more than I thought it would. I love that it’s easy to shut the magnets are strong and work great. When we leave with our hands full we’re able to shut it easily and keep all the heat in for our dog. It took my husband and I maybe 15 minutes to install it was very easy and the double sided velcro makes it super convenient to take off if you need to. We’ve got a bit of a gap at the bottom of our door that flies/bugs were getting in through and there would be a ton inside when we got home. This has completely blocked all bugs out. You would think it’s way thicker than it is with how much cold it keeps out. It’s slim and doesn’t look out of place or bulky over the door. Definitely considering buying another one for our bedroom door for extra heat when we sleep!

If there was 10 stars I would leave 10 stars, not only is this product great quality works awesome but they also surprised me with an early delivery a month early delivery, it actually keeps the heat inside very well, and the magnets are very strong and durable, it looks really good too. I placed a custom order and this thing fits like a glove. Material seems very durable as well, overall great product!!!

We installed this insulated door curtain between our pantry and laundry room at the start of winter, and the difference has been remarkable. Our laundry room tends to get drafty, and before adding this curtain, our heating bill always spiked when the door was left open even slightly. The curtain itself is thick and well-made, yet easy to push open and closed. It blocks cold air effectively without making the doorway feel cramped, and the material has held up beautifully after months of daily use. We’ve noticed our main living space stays warmer, and our energy bill dropped noticeably; our utility company even commented on the decrease this month! Installation was straightforward; the included hardware and instructions made it simple to hang securely. Okay, this item is thick & appears to be well made, magnets seem strong & door closes nicely ... so, those are the plusses. On the negative, the glue on the tape is REALLY STRONG ... so, you had better be sure of where it is going BEFORE you put it up. I put mine up, did not get it straight and when I tried to reposition it, it pulled off all of the paint from my doorframe! Luckily, I have no intention of ever taking this down because I also want to keep the air conditioned cool in my bedroom during the summer ... but, if I do take it down, my doorframes will have to be stripped completely and repainted. If I had it to do again, I would put the backing tape up first & then position the door (Velcro) on the tape after. The tape by itself would (I assume) be much easier to control without the weight of the door on it. Now, to the second thing ... the measurements on this were not right. I measured the door as was stated in the instructions but the width should have been at least an inch wider ... it barely fit across the frame ... there should have been an inch overlap on either side to accommodate the tape and there was only a half inch at best (not even). I would definitely buy again as I am happy with the product but I would definitely change how I installed it. Do yourself a favor and either have a second person to help, or put the tape up first. ADD ON: I did, in fact buy another of these ... that is how impressed I am with them. They definitely keep the cold/drafts out. The main reason I did this was so my cats could get into the rooms ... they have no problem doing so and the flaps just close right back up after them ... perfect. I did get one larger than my measured door this time given the fact that the other one barely fit and this was much better. I also put the tape up first which was much easier. I do highly recommend this item.

Works great, helps keep freezing air down to a minimum while the door is open to ley our dogs out. Magnets close quickly which is nice. Fits pretty well. Myself and my dogs can go out and in with ease. Heacy duty material. I just installed it so I can't speak to how long it will last, but as long as it gets me through winter it was well worth it. Great value for the price.

Product was as described. It was easy to install and has blocked cold air coming from our attic. The length and width were perfect as we did the measurements as described when ordering the product. Very nice quality and appears durable many years. The magnet opening seals quickly, and easy for access when needed. I would recommend purchasing this item.

This is an amazing curtain. Thick. Well made. The velcro is very tough and sticky. Installed it at work on a doorway and stands up well to going in and out. Made a world of difference in heat loss.
